I find it funny how some who were dead against this then move to the Northam from the Itchen North . its fans like them , who only want to sing their own songs / slag off those that sing songs they don’t like why having an end may not work . if you don’t agree with it then stay where you were or move to another area and sing your own songs there .

End of season games with nothing to play for are really hard to call . We should win if we were firing on all cylinders but this could quite easily be a draw . Can’t really see us losing but then again I thought that against Millwall.

ABK that melt hasn’t got the bottle to play for us in the championship and it’s players like him why we are here in the 1st place . Hope we can find another mug to take him even if it is on loan .

Have to agree with a lot of what you say here . We are in a strange position in the league now . As you say we ain’t going up in 2nd ( and for the more loony of our fan base we ain’t catching Leicester either) and we are going to quality for the playoffs . More than likely the lowest we will finish is 4th . so in some respects the league has fizzled out a bit and a cup run is now more exciting then perhaps it should’ve been .

As others have said it was the wrong team from the start . if he wanted to make changes then he should have made them on Saturday for arguably an easier game then last night . This result has completely wiped out our great result at West Brom .

I can’t believe anyone seriously wanted Leeds to beat Leicester even before us losing last night . it was always going to be hard to maintain 2nd let alone try and catch a team 11 points above us .

They’ve been doing that for years . I fucking hope we don’t start doing it.

Not sure why some think he’s ok . Not shone when been in loan at clubs at a lower standard then Charlton . Some signings work out some don’t , this one didn’t .

There were long periods of silence in the 2nd half . Probably mainly because everyone in ground knew we were going to win . we’ve never been a fan base that makes up lots of songs or even picks up on songs it’s taken 4 years for the Stuart Armstrong song to be sung . there was a good song ( and it didn’t even include Pompey) about Fraser just after he went of but I dare say will be knocked back by the usual suspect because it’s not a song he made up .

The way I see it is Martin clearly rates Stephens however he knows he can’t drop Bednarek and Harwood Bellis . So just like he did for the Swansea game he thought the best line was going with 3 centre backs. it worked against Swansea and to some extent it worked today . Personally I think we are a better side playing with a 4 at the back . And if Stephens can’t get in at CB then he misses out. 10 points from 4 games I doubt there is not one fan that wouldn’t have taken that on 22 December .

It’s no coincidence that Bazunu has got better in line with a settled CB pairing in front of him . Both Bennarek and Harwood-Bellis have been excellent and probably one of the best CB paring in the league . Bazunu though is excellent on the ball and he passes out with such confidence.

The final games of the season : Leicester v Blackburn Ipswich v Huddersfield Leeds v Saints I bet SKY tv are hoping that winner of our game can clinch 2 nd .

Bristol City are a bit of a bogie team for us , plus we are going to lose sooner or later . Saints 0 Bristol City 2.

Hull went on general sale and Huddersfield is a similar distance. Think you will be fine.

Probably because at the time we let him go we were an established mid table premier league team , rather than Hull who are a mid table championship team . You are right now, hindsight and all that seeing as we are now a mid table championship team then he would probably do ok for us .

For those fans ( if there are any left) that hope for automatic promotion then losing to Hull is unacceptable. For those fans hoping for a play of place losing or even drawing to Hull is unacceptable. For those fans accepting / thinking we will lose to Hull , losing to the likes of Hull is exactly why we aren’t challenging for automatic promotion and why a play off place is looking less and less likely.

Very true he was shit last season and he is no better this . If he played in goal for Rotherham last week we would have won as he wouldn’t have made the saves the Rotherham goalie did .

Have to agree. 17 points from 11 games would be the least those fans hoping for a play off spot would have wanted. Average that over a season would get around 71 points and even then that only might get you 6th place. Those fans keep harping on about how many points Burnley had at this stage last season - we ain’t Burnley and it’s not fucking last season .
