If Sims is premier league quality how come no other premier league clib have come in for him? Various managers have had a look at him at Saints and none have really seen him as a 1st team player. I have an idea - lets sell all our squad buy the best players in league one , bank the extra cash and see where we end up.

You forgot to add that to justify the 45000 stadium our catchment area went as far west Plymouth, Bristol as far north as the M4 and as far East as Crawley and fans would all flock to Southampton to see this happen.

I thought I read somewhere that if the tie does not go ahead due to not having enough fit players , then the side who can't field a team have to forfit the match. This might be why its not confirmed yet.

I wonder if this will be played which will benefit Saints . We have a few injuries and players could do with a rest . With Man City having a game called off and the Tottenham- Fulham game in doubt I can see football being suspended for a month . The premier league returned 18 positive tests last time out and would not be surprised if more will be returned after the next round of testing .

Josh Sims will be 24 next year and after a promising start he has failed to impress various mangers, even now with arguably one of the best managers to give young (ish is 24 young?) players a chance.

I live in Gosport and filled out the form today and said that i didnt live in a tier 3 area as today i don't. Had an email back saying my ticket will not be activated - i was going to chance it.

The are going on sale to season ticket holders? Other then the prioity groups we all have exactly the same chance. 200 tickets to sponsers/ players and 200 odd to executive members yet you havent critisied the club for that?

Out of intrest how would you have allocated the 2000 tickets avaiable ?

Have the club said (can't see it on the website?) when the ballot will take place and when we will know if we have been successful?

Well if you believe what the club said at the fans forum last week then they voted for PPV without knowing how much it would cost their supporters and how much they would receive from each subscription. Not quite sure how you can vote for something without knowing exactly what you are voting for .

Agree it made the last few mins so enjoyable after the 85 odd mins of nervousness !

Leicester were the only club to vote against this . Its a rip off and it could encourage people to break the law . I wouldn’t pay £14.95 to watch Saints in tv on my own. I would however chip in and watch it with mates in one house .

Who would have thought that introducing new software may have irritating bugs .......

I'm not too sure Saints can afford to pay us back, they must be losing near on £1m every time a match is played behind closed doors. £19m+ a season is quite a chunk to a club like Saints. However you knew full well that there was a good chance you wouldn't see every game when you purchased your season ticket so why did you buy one if you think they shouldn't have sold them? For me it was a no brainer if I cant go the club give me my money back - Spurs game by the 8th October the West Brom by 27th October- i wont lose anything.

Who said any thing about the big 6? Do you honestly believe they would by Saints for £200m odd then invest the same again?

Not weired at all, dsipite what Sky report perhaps as of yet we havent actually signed them .....yet.

I put £10 on them to stay up at 3/1 on Friday. They wont "easily" stay up - who ever stays up out of Watford, Bournemouth or Aston Villa will not have Easily stayed up. Bouremouth have a good chance , arguably a better chance then Watfrod going by both teams remaing fixtures.
