Yes I think unfortunately you are right. We may get £45m if we are lucky .
-
Yeah I agree. Not sure what we will offer to a potential buyer too . We have an owner who wants a reported £200,000,000 for his 80% stake and then a team that needs the best part of £50,000,000 odd of investment arguably just to finish 15th again .
-
It will be intresting to see how they price the 500 odd seats in block 31 on a match per match basis. I can see them selling a large chunk at £65 odd for the likes of liverpool, Man U but cant see them having many takers for £50 for the lkes of Burnley, or Palace. How much extra the club are going get is questionable over a season .
-
Beating Fulham - stop their winning run ..... oh they never went on that winning run that some on here told us they were going to.
-
Every club outside the top 6 must be looking be looking at them with envy . You could probably throw in Tottenham too come to think of it .
-
Do you really think we have £80m sitting in the bank waiting to be spent?
-
Seeing as Wolves are losing , do you think we are going to catch them then?
-
I reckon he could be right.
-
If it goes to form then Leicester will run out comfortable winners (3 or 4 -0) , how ever football has a habit of not always following forn so you never know. Big game for Ralph and the team to show what they are made of, at the very minimuim i expect a honerable defeat at worse.
-
I thought it was his best game for us for a while , made some decent saves and his kicking / passing was good. Hard to criticise him for the 2nd goal to be honest , maybe Pope might have saved it but Pope is arguably England’s best keeper .
-
Have to agree , I’m sure Fulham should be above us by now to !
-
To be fair Ralph has had over 2 years to show the team how to break down teams with 11 men behind the ball. maybe somebody should teach Ralph how
-
Glad someone else that thought the same. Said at work that Ralph threw McCarthy under the bus at Man City . Ralph knew full well there was a chance we’d let in a few goals and like you said didn’t want to knock Forster’s confidence.
-
To be homest i think most players and clubs "tap up" a simple "would you be interested in a move to so and so" etc. As for Vestergaard it shows how he's now viewed , this time last year many fans would have been pleased with him leaving.
-
I think Saints will only be alowed 4000 in from my understanding. If we get to the cup final and fans are allowed to return then I hope Saints reward those who have kept their season ticket 1st. No doubt of those that requested a full refund some will disagree and expect a full refund yet still think they are entitled to all the benifits of a season ticket holder who didnt ask for a refund.
-
Like when Saints stay up this season it will be down to Sheffield United's , West Brom's and one others ineptitude then.... Mark Hughes did a great job of keeping us up - we even went to Swansea and got the result we needed . As some else pointed out, for whatever reason he changed tactics the beginning of the next season and Saints struggled.
-
2 Distinctly average seasons in which we lost 9-0 twice. However win a the cup and he will be only our 3rd manager in 136 years to win a trophy which, after all is what football is about. Fine margins.
-
Fucking Leicester ? Since when were they a big big club ? 5 years ago many on here would have said we are on par with Leicester
-
Thats not exactly rocket science is it? Can we still go down? - yes its possible we could. How likey is it? - Not very likley at all. As I have said before, if we went down this season after getting 29 points from 23 games, then rather than Hassenhuttl being one of the many good managers we have had, he would become quite possibly the worst manager in our history.
-
Would be quite ironic, Ralph would go from one of the best managers we have had to the worst in history if that happend.
-
Have to agree with this. Only a few seasons ago fans were calling for Forster to be dropped and McCarthy to play. Mind you some fans are also thinking we are in a relegation scrap and some how Fulham, who have won 3 games all season, are going to overtake an 11 point gap and finish above us.
-
I thought many were saying the reason for our poor home form lthe last few seasons was the fans at St Mary's having a negative effect on the team...
-
Not that i want Ralph to resign, nor do i think he will but this is the 2nd 9-0 defeat. He;s been delt a rough hand and made a lot harder with the amount of injurys .
-
Were we not hoping to sign a centre half to replace Yoshdia ?
-
When was the last time we actually strengthened the team in January.? The last couple we’ve all hoped and said we need this player or that player but by the end of the window we ended the window weaker then when the window opened.
