Joe Lewis has joined Cardiff on a free from Peterborough. Pleased he's gone elsewhere as I've never been convinced he'd have been ideal for us.

Got a few mates who support Boro and they all say the same thing. Excellent shot stopper but has no presence in the area. Flaps at corners/crosses and causes more chaos than calm. Some would be happy to see him move on and have someone more consistent in goal.

Maybe our re-hashed interest in Jay Rod is a lever to force another deal through, for instance Hooper? If we're aware the boy doesn't really want to move from the NW but we've had a previous strong interest, it would be an easy association to make, so another club believes we could lose our interest in their player. Or more straw clutching from me?

But if Barney were to go as some have suggested, who else would we have who might be handy with a bottle...?
