Steven Davis would be a good shout to strengthen the midfield. I like Deano as competition to Morgan & Cork but Davis is a level up.

Paul Scholes always looked like he wanted to be anywhere but in front of the camera when being interviewed & he did ok!! I guess it's something not everyone is comfortable with & hopefully it's not indicative of his state of mind as a player. For me, it's more about losing the niggles, gaining fitness & fitting into our patterns of play before we'll see his best.

Think he'll turn out to be a cracking signing but Nigel has already said he's got some niggles which may be impacting on his fitness & sharpness. Add that to him needing to adapt to the team & them to him & the problem is possibly exacerbated. Once over his injuries & fully fit & he'll be fine for us & a great foil for Lambert.

That's a very fair point. If he's that bothered about getting back playing for them, he's not short of a few quid, is he?

Paul Robinson, one of only 2 players still playing to have scored a goal for us in an FA Cup semi final. For that, I will always be grateful! Do I want him at SMS now? No. We're overloaded with left backs as it is & not convinced Robinson would be any better.

Doesn't matter a jot! The key date is that he's signed until 30/6/15 and, given his form, that's just fine and dandy with me.

I seem to recall some were questioning Jos' strength when he was given a lesson in Championship life by Ishmael Miller. The conditioning work Adkins often speaks of put that right and I'd imagine once Lee learns about the English game & is subjected to some of the Adkins diet, he'll be fine.

Vaz Te will have played for Allardyce at Bolton so can see the connection there. Sure Man Yoo said they wouldn't let Morrison leave but maybe that's changed. TBH I don't mind if West Ham strengthen too because they will take points off our rivals for us. Two auto promotion spaces up for grabs & I'd be pleased with 1st or 2nd!!
