Wondering if our reported interest in Koopmeiners is dependent on AZs Champs League progress. Lost 2-0 away to Dynamo Kiev. No champions league money could force their hand
-
Just offering an opinion. As usual anyone who is critical is deemed to be wetting the bed 😴. You're getting a bit wound up taking two of my comments to task
-
Palace had just 120 passes lol. The lowest for a winning team since they did it against City in 2018. Reflects even worse on us. Poor
-
He really wasnt, we were just utterly dreadful and tested him a whole two times. Pushing the full backs on and losing it cost us the goal. Back to sidewards and backwards passing again. Final third was pathetic
-
We were previously linked so wonder if that interest will re-emerge. No space however unless we are planning to move on Boufal as suggested
-
The PL could have easily pushed the season start back a week. Those Nations League games were in the calendar before covid

The Sunday Times - Southampton put up for sale at £250m

His credentials are already being wrote off by many on here, so its a yes from me 😃 -
Mentioned on twitter as coming from Walfoot, some Belgian football website. Dont have the link unfortunately
-
Seen it mentioned that we're interested in Club Brugge's Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis and might look to include him in any deal for Hoedt. Been linked with Leeds/Wolves. Scored two at the Bernabeu for Brugge last year
-
Celtic fans seem keen for us to take Ajer off their hands. Some really dont rate him, which differs from opinion on Ntcham (and the likes of Armstrong before him). No real point in replacing one big lump (Vestergaard if he goes) with another.
-
Very good point
-
Wise up
-
Lennon was furious in his post match presser saying that players who dont want to be there or have asked to leave can go. Hopefully we can negotiate down on Ntcham because hes not a 20 million player. 12-15 million more reasonable
-
Juventus, wow. But sure according to the athletic hes sh*** 🤷♂️
-
People moaning that its a betting company. Unfortunately money is all that matters for most clubs when it comes to sponsorship. Its a sign of the times and betting companies have considerable wealth in which to cast their advertising net far and wide. Most PL clubs have betting companies as their main sponsors or the few that dont, have them as sub sponsors or partners
-
You should know what hes like. Has to be top of the class on every saints topic 🤦🏼♂️
-
Was it not mentioned a few days ago that a new contract is set to be announced?
-
Most of our signings under Ralph have worked out so far (Danso an exception, although he was only a loan). If Ralph rates him and thinks he'll improve us, thats good enough for me
-
Could the fitness problem be Obafemi. Ralph has publicly singled him out previously for not looking after himself. Could maybe explain the Nunez links. Just a guess
-
Who puts a break clause in a contract? Oh right, the same people who own the sponsor. What a sham. Lets just go sponsorless
-
Never mind them.two, we signed arguably our two best players when they were 26 - Ings and Armstrong
-
Do they now? Then if he knows his shit he could easily write an informed article outlining exactly why hes not good enough for saints, as opposed to a comment in a tweet. Clearly he loves Harrison Reed and wants to see him given a chance. But sure he knows his shit better than us mere fans
-
Yeah because theres plenty of journos who comment on player ability. Whats he basing the assessment on? Has he watched plenty of Schalke or USA games. Needs to give us something to back up his assessment. Lazy 'journalism' if you ask me.
-
Not sure how I feel about a football writer/journo passing judgement on a players ability. I think the numerous club scouts, analysts and RH will make that assessment for themselves thanks Carl
