If they don't start bucking their ideas up and being the grown ups in the room that they want to be, they look like they'll be leaving the door wide open for Nigel - a couple of years of that and things really will only be able to get better. -
Phew, very quick thinking! Luckily no one quoted your post with the picture in it, otherwise there could have been big trouble. Wait, what, someone did quote it? Uh oh.

Which part of that printed piece of paper (that could have been printed by anyone in the world), specifically stated that Clement Lemaitre is a member of the backroom staff?

I could do with a free wig to be fair. I was in the gym today on the stationary bike next to another guy, someone commented we looked like two eggs boiling in a pan - cheeky bastard. -

(almost) a year in and 'smashing the gangs' isn't making much difference - if it's happening at all? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9dqqj0v1ndo -
He's just pretending - he was fired, just doesn't want to admit it.

Somehow, we always manage to lose the corner pieces.

Despite acknowledging the number one priority is to get a proven goalscorer in!

A 'criminal' investigation has been opened now. I suspect, with the PM declaring that it was 'hate speech', the local bobbies will be under pressure to agree with that and formally press charges. I can only assume this will then go down the prioritised route for investigation / prosecution - although, despite the PM's proclamation, I can't work out which one of the five types of 'hate crime' this would fit under :

Any update on how this went, did he navigate the car park lines without incident and sail through the medical 🤞

Maybe, maybe not. However, my response was in reply to MLG who stated : This is simply not true. MLG in particular is a bastion of 'truth' and regularly picks other posters up. It's only fair he receives the same treatment. If he has a link to a post from a journalist stating he was told by the club, he should have posted that one, not the one he did
-
Horseshit. Nowhere does it say he was told by the club. All it states is that a couple of weeks ago there seemed confidence they'd get it done. It does not state who had the confidence - it could have been anyone, including his own grandma. Nowhere does he name the club. It's just a rumour.

I agree. I disagree that the purpose will have much effect on illegal workers, let alone enough of an effect to justify the cost! -

That's one of the issues though. We all know that black, Asian and anyone 'foreign' looking will be asked to prove their right to live in the country disproportionately more than white / European people, simply because of the demographics of those entering the country and working illegally. Than there will be the endless hand wringing and accusations of brutality etc. -

Which of those could be done right now without spending billions on ID cards? -
That's because he was cup tied. No one can perform with that hanging round their neck.
-
Did you not get as far as the bottom paragraph - we're mentioned there

Seems legit. No reason not to trust a 'Guru'.

So what purpose will an ID card have if the Govt already has the data?
