I guess the reason why tickets for Glastonbury are so expensive is because some of the cost goes to cleaning up after the lazy bastards attending!

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

Do you really think that the ones getting 'lost' and working cash in hand are going to be queuing up to get an ID card? Essentially you're relying on people being 'caught' working without the legal right - which is no different to the current system which doesn't have the huge cost of ID cards for everyone! -

There is already a law in place for exactly that! All employers HAVE to check eligibility to work - passport / birth certificate & NI / right to work share code. The issue is no one is checking that businesses are doing this - presumably through lack of resources. I doubt that will change if ID cards are introduced... -
Some hippy version of top trumps?

Trouble is, there is a large portion of society who don't ask who is doing their McDelivery or Whooshing their groceries to them. I'd challenge most deliveries aren't being delivered by the person pictured on the app! Massive 'blackmarket' economy growing with almost zero checks and balances. -

They can 'want' whatever they like. That's how democracies work! -
It's not necessarily a lose once amortisation is taken into account...

Very liberal elite of you. Everyone can have a vote. As long as they have the same opinions as you? -

He was good at PM question time though, against Boris and Liz. Talk is cheap I guess? -
No 5 also says you should wear a hat. I suspect my woolly bobble hat will be a little hot whilst eating dinner.

No arguments there. Still would be nice to have a PM that makes the 'right' decision first time, without wasting time, effort and money changing their mind.... -

To be fair, I thought it was mustard.

If riding illegally, then yes. I'd also add electric scooter riders to the list as well.

There was an article the other day saying new recruits should be handed £10k for signing up. Increase that to £500k and 160billion is easily achievable.

The guy who makes the sweat burgers outside the stadium is going to be furious!

You jest, surely? The station would be in constant use with people visiting the gentrified district, assorted shops, restaurants, indoor arena etc etc.

Do you genuinely believe the horseshit you write? Fact checking... Iran currently has 3 submarines - all diesel electric built by the Russians. It is believed Iran has around 450kg of enriched Uranium. A nuclear submarine can run for about 25 years on 5kg of 'fuel'. I've no idea how much Uranium is used in 'imaging' but if a nuclear sub can be powered for 25 years on 5kg, I suspect not much. Iran therefore has enough 'fuel' to power roughly 80 nuclear subs for the next 25 years. That should sufficiently replace the 3 that they currently have, eh? What's more likely, the nuclear sub theory or the nuclear weapons theory? Thickos need not attempt to answer.

Most of those were part of our Championship promotion squad that were uber motivated to play in the EPL hence why we allegedly had amazing team spirit. A couple of months later, those same players couldn't be arsed to motivate themselves to STAY in the EPL that they worked so hard to reach. Psychology or Psychobabble?

So it can be knocked down and a new indoor arena built? Good job we've got hundreds of millions to spend!
