Whilst they have hostages, Israel will continue to bomb, maim and kill with the backing of the US. Release all the hostages and that stops - maybe not, but if it continues after that point any International sympathy for Israel will disappear. I just can't see what Hamas are trying to achieve, but maybe I've missed something?
