Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Weston Super Saint replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
I believe Hypo is trying to say that since, historically, the overwhelming majority of those incidents have been committed by Islamists, then the immediate assumption is that is what has happened again. Similarly, if the basic facts were : 2 gangs of youths were fighting in the street throwing chairs and bricks at each other just after the Milwall Pompey game finished, the assumption would be that this was quite likely a 'football hooliganism' incident. -

Weren't the basic facts : nutter drives car, at speed, into crowded Christmas market killing people innocently going about their business? -

Racist prick. Other races, colours and creeds are capable of terrorism. -

Flip : Flop : No sense in sending people to a 'dead planet' but sending people to the (dead) moon was an 'incredible achievement'. I assume LBC told you what to think in between posts....

Scar tissue.

Congrats. You managed to get the point. That's pretty good for you.

He also has more goals than Messi. Not sure your point is quite the blockbuster you clearly think it is.

Apparently he had a nasty accident with some tinsel over Christmas and will be out for at least another 2 weeks. Get well soon.

He didn't play him. How much more discouragement can there possibly be? Other than that though, great point.
-
So, you don't believe Martin gave him assurances he would play - even though you insisted on posting the full quote?
-
Flip flop, flip flop. First you say Martin gave him assurances he would get game time if he stayed, then you justify Martin not giving him game time because other players did things the season before. We get it, Martin could do no wrong in your eyes. The table - and almost everyone else's eyes - say differently.
-
How did that go for the first 16 games? From the two differing stand points, you'd have to say TP's looks like it was the correct one, that as long as Martin was in charge he'd have no chance of getting game time...

I think the answer is just 'statistics'... No point trying to argue against that completely logical stance. I went to the gym this morning and literally everyone there was comparing their fitness statistics on their fitness statistics app. Incredible scenes.

To be fair, there were probably signs that they weren't being entirely truthful when they said 'your call is important to us'

We don't have enough for a 10 point penalty at the moment

Lol. Look at the team, look at our position, look at our performances. But, no, your(sic) right, we've got the fittest team on the planet, never have we fallen apart in the last 30 mintues of a game, not once. We've got everything under control and no fitness issues I tells ya. 'Stats' speak for themselves? Scored 2 and conceded 14 in the last 30 minutes of games speaks for itself doesn't it?
