Two strange things happened this weekend in the world of football. That's the most I've ever enjoyed a Burnley win. And that's the most I've ever enjoyed a Liverpool win. I think I may have some bias towards Everton.

I don't think its correct to say all forums are the same. I can think of a pretty good example of one that was thriving until the rabid politics of a powerful minority set in. They literally eliminated anyone with a different point of view over a few months. And now its just the same five or six posters keeping the place limping on. ~There's a warning there to be heeded......

These off topic discussions are fine, even when they get heated. What I find strange, is the people who post, who cannot accept there may well be an opposite point of view. And to even suggest that there is, seems to inspire over the top name calling rebuttals. When did that become a way to win an argument?

Can see no further than a 1-1 tonight, which does little for both of us. In fact, I'd go as far to say anything less than three points and they have gone. Everton seem to have a jammy ability to get a point here and there, whereas Burnley seem to have the opposite knack. I've never liked Burnley, but have always respected their time in the epl. They knew what they needed to do, and they did it well. I feel like the new ownership, & losing SD, well its is just bringing down the curtain on their top flight adventure. Rather than allow them to cling on painfully, I'd prefer us to administer a lethal dose, but again, can see nothing but a disappointing draw.
