I feel that any pitch invasion should be avoided until the final game St Marys. When we win tomorrow, yes, we have earned promotion but at the same time condemned Plymouth to relegation. Without the good fortune of Markus saving our club, that could have so easily been us disappearing to league 2. Have a bit of class, sing and chant and cheer but stay off the pitch, and spare a thought for their fans, it could've been us!

I think that this will all be over within twenty minutes of kick off tomorrow. As soon as we take the lead Plymouth will have to try and score two which simply won't happen! I think it will be a relatively straight forward 3-0 victory and promotion. Yes, my glass is positively full to the brim! I don't go with all this "saints always do it the hard way" rubbish. We are the second best team in the league (1st in form) and we are playing a poor team who have sold any player who was worth anything. Simples. Just chill out and enjoy the day.

I remember Beatts cupping his ear to the Pompey fans in celebration after scoring against them. In the foreground is a grinning James Beattie and the the background hundreds of angry Pompey fans. Has anybody got that picture or a link to it. I am trying to put up a saints display at school and was thought that picture demonstrated the rivalry between the two clubs. Many thanks.
