Uninstall Norton (using add / remove programs) whilst in "Safe Mode" To get your PC to start in safemode.... Go to START / RUN - Type "msconfig" and hit enter. - Click on the "BOOT.INI" tab - Tick box next to "/SAFEBOOT" Remember to untick this as your PC will always boot in safe mode until unticked.

I think its just a driving aid mate, dont think you are supposed to use it instead of looking out the windscreen.
