Only needs another goal in either game for SA to be level with Senegal on goal diff...

Gary Neville eat your heart out... this is how you do football analysis. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/video-neil-allen-and-jordan-cross-pompey-review-1-6542291

You don't read the UK papers much, I assume?
-
Are you seriously about to dig yourself the same statistical hole that you fell in on the first page of the thread? Presumably you will then arm-wave it away again because "you can prove anything with statistics"?
-
He's based the 9 wins on needing to get more points than the team in 5th. He then goes on to say: The average number of points the team finishing fourth has actually secured over the last five seasons is a little higher at 72, meaning an extra victory would be required to hit that tally. Good trolling from the echo!

You forgot the bit where they fleeced their fan base on the pretence of "owning" the club

"....as part of the overall development, a temporary surface has been used." Ahahahahahaa. Ahem. Funny because i could have sworn the Trust's board meeting minutes painted a somewhat different picture http://www.pompeytrust.com/attachments/articles/a20235_Summary%20of%20PST%20Board%20Meeting%20291214.doc . Car Park behind the North Stand MW said he has asked AB to confirm the car park is finished. Several BMs thought the gravel looked too deep and unfinished. MT felt the specification is not good enough and it is being looked at and the cost for changing it all to black top. MT said the specification is as agreed but is being checked. The surface does not seem to be the answer. DF felt it should have been made known beforehand what surface was being laid. ST said the disabled bit is fine but there are more blue badge holders than the specified tarmac areas and it is very difficult to push a wheel chair through the gravel surface. There is concern that when the weather is wet the gravel will spread everywhere.

Sadio Mané says he will be back in just two weeks

He's in the Senegal 23-man squad... -
This just goes to show there's nothing wrong with the US's gun control laws.
-
BBC is quoting this: https://you-are-the-ref.com/time-for-a-review/ It looks like he's been taking lessons in paragraphs from Neil Allen.
-
According to his Facebook... it's only a minor injury and he should be back on the pitch in 2 weeks... All sounds a bit convenient!
-
Nah these are real services ... http://wyscout.com/ http://info.scout7.com/en/ Doubt they are ahead of the curve on this though.

Actually, i think the papers are being deceitful (shock horror) ... Daily Mail for example (just happens to be the first article found on Google)... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2896532/Andrew-face-music-Prince-flies-home-skiing-holiday-amid-growing-crisis-claims-sex-age-girl.html "She alleges royal had sex with her when she was 17 - a minor under US law" "He slept with her in New York, London and Caribbean, court papers claim" Except there is no single age of consent in the US - it varies from state to state. And according to Wikipedia, the age of consent in NY state is 17... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_North_America#New_York Again, doesn't make it right etc etc...
-
In terms of her being "under-age", you all know that she was 17 when the alleged offences took place? Not to condone anything illegal/immoral he may have done, but it should be pointed out that is over the legal age of consent in the UK, as well as many US states.

OK well given how completely irrelevant statistics are then, it's pretty strange that your very first contribution to the thread began with: "I think you'll find if you look at it statistically..."
-
This makes the opposite point to the one you think it does. As a direct result of Dunblane, there is now a ban on handguns in the UK. What people are calling for is the US to do the same. Speaking statistically, this might be useful: UK firearms deaths per 100,000 people is 0.25 US firearms deaths per 100,000 people is 10.30 .... that's FORTY-ONE times the UK figure Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate

MLG you sometimes get a tough time on the main board, but to be fair you've had a 'mare here. BBC says injuries are not life threatening which is something at least. Seems like the guy has been (and will continue to be) a really positive influence on the game.

II could do a job in your midfield - especially for set pieces. And BB and CC for 3rd and 4th choice keepers... -
So 78% of MPs are millionaires. But actually your issues seems to be that they are the wrong kind of millionaires, is that right? Presumably having earned their money in various industries, rather than through celebrity.

And the system that you would prefer to representative democracy is.... ?

Amazing publicity that will guarantee massive DVD/Bluray/download sales. Particularly if average Americans get any sense of North Korean threats limiting their freedom of expression or something.

Poor Wayne missed the decisive penalty for Worcester City last night in a record FA cup penalty shoot out: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30526186 But who remembers his winning penalty in the JPT against Norwich? Which resulted in this picture... Also, didn't he score a screamer for us against someone? Anyone remember who it was against?

The most crucial question is, where are our players' wristbands?
