Cheeky beggar only paid £1 to buy the club. Fans to issue winding up petition for remaining 50p.
-
Google 'Cudicini Motorcycle' for a possible explanation.
-
Highly sceptical based on this sentence alone. Not even Lord Mahwindbag has this power
-
Will they last the season? (By that I mean Winter)
-
But isn't also true that if a Winding Up Petition is served and they go into administration then Lens are likely only to recieve a few pence in the pound so why would they do that. Surely it is better to sue so to try get the money off them. Not at all. A law suit simply determines that the debt is payable, Lens will have a contract that already proves this, hence they can serve a stautory demand. A winder forces them to pay the debt of be wound up as a company Even if they wound up Pompey they would still be behind any secured creditor. You are correct in your ascertion that Lens would get f'all pence in the pound

Cadbury's Gorilla drummer. A real WTF moment seeing that!

If the debt is undisputed (eg a contractual right) the actual recourse is via a Statutory Demand followed by a Winding Up Petition to the courts. All this can be achieved for If Lens require my advice on debt recovery against UK institutions I might be able to provide my services for free this once.

Only if Labour get a 4th term.

The Skates problem is compounded by the sheer complexity of thier situation. It is very suspicious that the Skates have settled the mortgage on Fratton Park. I would have thought that the mortgage would have been a far less pressing commitment than other short term liabilities. Looks to me like they are getting ducks in a row for something, maybe pre-pack admin? Fair play to PES, balanced poster who understands the difference between rivalry and vitriol.

TBF he called it correctly, both for Saints and Pompey
-
A wage is only a good one if it is paid. Linvoy Primus would have chosen a career ending insurance payment over his prospects with the Pompey Payroll department.
-
In fairness if my company was in the poo and I had sold two of the company's most valuable assets to another company that couldn't pay and ultimately could go bust without the possibility to recover those assets on default - I'd be made to resign by the shareholders.

Agree. Coldplay are ****.
-
Technically we could lose 9-8 and still achieve that feat.
-
"liquidation expert Azougy" Now why would they need one of those?
-
Marmite player. He is either MOTM or utter ****e. Sounds like he had one of those days today!
-
Edit. Just re-read the first post. I think Crouch was a shining light in a dim season. Decent striker, good bloke and £5m profit.
-
Unfortunately the answer is yes. Technically they can make the permanent position redundant and hire in a company (contractor) to supply those same services. Very similar to companies binning their staff and outsourcing overseas to a third party, just on a smaller scale.
-
It's actually the contractor who loses dispensations if they have the same gig for > 2 years. As it is still technically a B2B contract the timescale is not an issue. We have 100s of contractors over 2 years and no rights accrue. Everything else Saint Keith says is spot on, don't confuse 'temp' work with 'contract' work. Actually one of the few things on the board I am qualified to have an opinion on!

Perspective. - If Connolly had a perfect fitness record he would currently still be a Prem player. - Players recovering from serious injuries will suffer minor niggles as the body strengthens at varying rates in varying places. - His serious prior injury was an ankle one. - He might have been rested. - The club have been pretty straight up since regieme change about injuries eg Murty.

Spoken like the real MLT.
-
Is that the prescribed treatment?
-
For a game Preston wouldn't let him play in - Genius!

I don't know him and how true this is so feel free to shoot me down with fact but I used to hear stories of our younger Saints such as Surman, Crainie and Adam L getting bladdered out on the town quite a bit. As standards in football improve lifestyle will be a inreasing factor in how far a player can go. Has Pardew changed the culture does anyone know?
