  1. They work quickly these bells!! May need to get a 12kg one. The 8 is already feeling a bit too easy.
  2. Implies he may not be, 'Saints fit.'
  3. Striker starved!? After their transfer philosophy!? What a bunch of ****s! !
  4. We are going to have to beat a few of the teams around us! Well. Yes!!!
  5. Yes, he is complimentary. But the subtext is clear... "Cheers for the supply line lads, keep them coming!!" :x:x:x:x
  6. Why would you bite for the Troll?
  7. If he is a wide-forward and can fill in on the wings it'll be a no-brainer. Linked to a Brazillian (ok, just hear'say right now...) and Italian international in the same window. Certainly different!!
  8. Nonsense. I saw a Margate side gunning for conference football throw away a 2-0 lead for a 2-3 defeat to 10 man Folkestone Invicta at their own Cheriton Road ground back in 1999. Stranger things have happened, football is a game that cannot be ruled by numbers alone and the very game plan which saw us take a three - one lead also left us hanging on for dear life knackered at the end. It was a point won. It took a worldy to deprive us of all three. One of the best and most entertaining away spectacles I've ever attended.
  9. Quite right. Thank you. Mainly a reserve side from either nation..... but that would put him in the same bracket as a Jagielka, a Cahill, as per my comparison.
  10. Davide Astori's international career. 2 appearances. Both a year and a half or so ago in 2011. Was sent off on his full debut against Ukraine (Italian win) for two yellow cards. All this despite playing for Cagliari. A team that historically has been no great shakes, would be no surprise for relegation and has nothing expected of them. A "Bolton Wanderer." It would be damn exciting to get him. His emergence on the italian national scene could draw some parallels with Gary Cahill's at the Trotters. As for Butland..... still not sure.
  11. Normally a night out in Winchester with friends, this time a house party with the same friends. Less money spent, same great company, more chance of hearing each other speak.
  12. If he was to leave for better things.... I could almost understand it. But anyone, anyone, please anyone but F**KING ARSENAL!!!
  13. Yep. Safe bet!
  14. Tell you what, if they manage that i'll buy you Marians Pahars' shirt from that very game.
  15. Apparently he snubbed a meeting with the Morocco manager when he came to London to speak to him recently. That led to him being left out.
  16. Ok. Newcastle Leeds United Manchester United Liverpool Stoke City Northampton Town Coventry West Bromwich Albion Wolverhampton Wanderers Birmingham City Derby Country Nottingham Forest Notts County Oxford United Southampton (Duh....) Bournemouth Bristol Rovers Burton Albion Dagenham and Redbridge Leicester City Blackpool Charlton Atheltic Sheffield Wednesday Barnsley Walsall Stevenage Borough Crawley Carlisle United Gillingham I make that 29/92. Lost Hereford United and Boston United in recent years.
  17. 0-3 to Liverpool after 28 minutes. Oh dear Harry, Oh dear oh dear. Seriously, anyone that would want to join QPR will either need to be mercenary (won't help) or a complete gamble. So nice to see a bit of Karma in this game.
  18. It's the Moose. He is the most partisan and unprofessional journalist this side of Neil Allen. He would make a mountain out of the merest molehill as far as West Ham are concerned. I wouldn't worry.
  19. Of our current lot, either Yoshida, Hooiveld or Rickie.
  20. Oh. The first half was Guly's best spell in a Saints shirt. Him, Morgan and Cork ran the show.... and themselves into the ground.
  21. Troll.
  22. After that first half, i'm not surprised that we were hanging on at the end. We out-fought, outgunned and utterly outdid one of the most physical sides in the league. We were knackered, holding on... and got the point we deserved. That was a truly stunning game of football.
  23. What a match. Just got back to Coventry. That first half. Unbelievable. Cork, Morgan and Do Prado ran the show. We deserved to be ahead even if it did take some calamity defending. Second half, we had worn ourselves out and Stoke needed a worldy to earn their share of the points. True entertainment, a point I would have killed for before. Got my money's worth today.
  24. And that is something quite possible if we really are trying to get him. If.
  25. Any mentions of a pitch inspection?
