Guess who
-
I wouldn't worry. Sophisticated rendering software like the one used here can often throw the perspectives out slightly.
-
That is the best home shirt mock up ever.
-
Well, anything to avoid hard labour after a defeat.
-
To be fair, he probably has all the spare time he could possibly desire.

You liar, I bet you do fart.

'False' widows. What is so false about them? That they look like Black Widows but are not poisonous or that they look slightly different but can still kill you?
-
Not as much of a waste as printing flyers or hiring Lawrie Mac for a recorded telephone message. While I would say about 95% of season ticket holders would have already checked up on the details for the coming season, a 1 hour job for an office hand to knock together a reminder would certainly be a good idea.

You really have no idea. It may not be the free for all that you get in the Northam, but we do genuinely love our football and do get animated when the action demands it. If sitting down doesn't feel right to you, no problem.... but standing while you are with young children doesn't feel right to many of us who sit there either. I can understand the reasons why a move to the Chapel would appeal but it would surely only be financial. The best area for noise and atmosphere will remain in the Northam, right next to the away end and clustered into one place, just as it should be.

If anyone stands up in the Family end i'll set my nipper on you. And yes, she does bite.

Incidentally, my quickest time at beating the level is 1 min 13 seconds. Would be interesting to see how anyone else gets on.

A proper link to a player in the foreign press - Innocent Emeghara
Colinjb replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
To the tune of 'My old man's a dustman'... In-no-cente Em-eg-hara, He came from Switzerland Now he's at Southampton, He'll score up at your end. It's not a great song... but it's a song. Mines a Becks Vier. -
What a fail. He left in Jan 2006. That was over 5 years ago. Matt Le God, I am disappointed.

Sergeant who left police dogs to die in hot car slashes wrists in 'suicide bid'
Colinjb replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
The hottest day of the year, it can get serious hot in a vehicle. And Dogs apparently cannot keep themselves cool as effeciently as we do, they cannot sweat so they pant... Panting in the hot air really quickly raises their body temperature. -
Sergeant who left police dogs to die in hot car slashes wrists in 'suicide bid'
Colinjb replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
What a d*ck. Even more of a d*ck for attempting the suicide route. -
Yes, oh lord they can come out with some belters.

Just downloaded the demo. For anyone who is unfamiliar with the idea, the story of the game is a clumsy mixture of the 'new' 3D sonic games and the older 2D style gameplay. But hey, Sonic is 20 years old and they need to make some money. First impressions are good. The gameplay in the demo is an older '2D' section. The graphics hark back to old Sonic while being suitably 3D and up to date. The physics of it feel a lot better then Sonic 4 (Which I just couldn't like, Sonic had no momentum.) Sonic really does feel quick and it feels rather 'tight.' It can be a little hit or miss using an analogue stick but you can use the D-pad.... but on an XBox 360 controller it is in the wrong place. There are a few odd movements in the demo, after all the game is incomplete. Some ledges are a bit 'sticky' and some random invisible forces can throw you off in mid air but it's not enough to detract from the first impressions of the thing. The demo only has 14 days of play left on it. (It's time locked) but I am looking forward to the full game in November. The demo has certainly whetted my appetite.

Opinion Poll: The song that Saints currently come in to?
Colinjb replied to kwsaint's topic in The Saints
I've had second thoughts. We should pick something modest, something that will not inflame the 'arrogant' perception that some of our rivals may have of us. This would be perfect: -
A bit of a pain. Would have been nice to sort everything in one visit to the ticket office but for something that is 'free' in the family section anyway it's not the greatest of inconveniences.

Kettering Town V Saints XI, 28th July 7:45 pm
Colinjb replied to Northant Saint's topic in The Saints
Fantastic stuff! I shall be sure to schedule some appointments in and around Kettering that day. -
So, on that Logic then, I won't be able to get my (future) step-daughter her first season ticket in the family enclosure when I renew on the 1st, I'll have to wait until the 14th and hope the seat next to mine is still free?

It wouldn't surprise me if the Skates have generously offered us the use of their state of the art facilities.

It has to be Javier de Pedro. All that time of us linked with a left winger who could complete the final piece of the puzzle after the cup final. Something to give us that attacking impact from the left after Bridgey departed. Forum member Javi swore he would be joining, we all drooled in anticipation at getting a player who was a full Spanish international and nearly won La Liga with Real Sociedad just a year or two before.... ....And we ended up with Neil McCann.... ....And when he joined Blackburn a year or so later he proved to be not very good anyway. Halcyon Days.

The 2011 Summer 'It's so bloody boring, lets have a Saints quiz' thread.
Colinjb replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
At the end of the loan window in 2012. Only then will 'everyone' be on board.
