  1. Chris Baird Free Kick v Cardiff. Bale v Coventry Bale v Derby Bale v Hull (I think it was....) Camara v Everton
  2. I've paid for it, so I hope it's not a complete missmatch. Nontheless, I wish to see Haye knock Harrison out comprehensively.
  3. Six words I hate: 'Completely against the run of play.' F**k
  4. Oh my days. That headline has made me laugh so hard. You can only feel pity for that journalist... Really.
  5. Cheers mate. Is it just me being thick or is the OS hopeless for 'ticket news' now?
  6. Well, they make addictive reading.
  7. I take it tickets are on sale? Dad and I hope to do this one, basing ourselves at the Grandparents in Wetherby.
  8. It was as much the desire to try the furthest away trip as much as anything! But yeah, was a bit gruelling. Plymouth is the furthest for me now though...... As you said Dune, complete respect for all those doing the 10 hour round trip from Southampton.
  9. Is a bit far! 3.5 hours there, 3 back for me last year. And no, on the return I didn't 'hang about.'
  10. Was at that one last year. We took about 2 thousand. The game that finally nailed the lesson in for me. NEVER LEAVE EARLY!!!!
  11. Actually, it's just come to me. If you are ever tempted to buy those jars of Pickled cod/herring whatever in the Ikea food aisle, seriously don't bother.
  12. Not really been one for strange foods, but the 'Fenek' (Grilled or Fried Rabbit) I had in Malta this year had to have been the worst example of a 'meat' dish i've ever tried. I've seen more meat on an anorexic then there was on those poor bunnies that lost their lives in the name of a 'meal.'
  13. If they where guilty then we have every right to want them brought to account. People who search out trouble deserve no sympathy whatsoever. They have been proven innocent though, and as such there is no longer an axe to grind.
  14. Big Crunch. Gravity will not just dissappear, and there will come a time when the force outward will not exceed the pull inwards.
  15. I am resisting as I understand it needs a large open area in front of it to work. I fear my small lounge would be insufficient.
  16. Best of luck with that one!
  17. It is beginning to look a decade old now... it does need a bit of sprucing up. The problem is the building is quite generic, to the untrained eye it looks virtual identical to Middlesborough, Sunderland, Leicester, Darlington etc.
  18. Which is not helped by the location. Too far out to be practical for many of the old guard that went a lot to Highfield Road.
  19. Agreed, it would be our equivalent of what happened to Coventry by moving to the Ricoh arena. Souless is the word.
  20. Completely agree. If you choose to take part in something like this you only have yourself to to blame. Football violence is a blight on the game and cannot be tolerated. Send them down.
  21. Dad worked with Margate's club secretary, it went from there. I still maintain there is the potential there for a league club in Thanet. As for Ashford Town, sorry, Homelands is just too dead as far as atmosphere goes. It all went downhill for them when they left Essella Park. Such a shame they have had to withdraw from the Isthmian League. Well, Kent league here they come.
  22. As a Man of Kent born in Ashford, who had been nurtured into the ways of football watching Margate at Hartsdown Park, I can confess to being less then impressed at Dover's victory. Wonderful advert for Kent football either way! There is surely space for more then one football league club in that county.
  23. The A46 outer ringroad. A bit of a sh*thole. My local is good for a laugh. They hate everyone.
  24. 49) Klingons on the Starboard bow.
  25. 43) Winning the last ever game at Maine Road.
