Well, considering the current state of the economy essentially NO-ONE in my line of work and industry feels safe from dissmisal. If that alone is reason to strike then the entire industrial and production sector should stop right now! How f**king dare they demand a pay rise at the moment, they should be fortunate in the knowledge they have a damn well paid and relatively secure job in these rocky times, and that they are potentially ruining family outings and long standing arrangements for people who have in many cases saved a lot of money to see England to prove some kind of point is disgraceful. Sod them all.

My idea of the plan. Year 1: New ownership sees investment in promising young L1/2 players and a few more seasoned pros. We fight our way up the league and by Xmas are in the top 10, we push on for the rest of the year and achieve a play off place. We lose at Wembley in the play off final Year 2: A trip to Wembley helps galvanise the fanbase and we acheive regular crowds of 19k + at SMS. A difficult start to the second season sees us grab second in the league after a late push. Year 3: A lá Swansea/Bristol City our team pushes on well and finish comfortably in the top 10 of the Championship. However our manager is now in demand at a higher level and leaves. Year 4: The newer appointed bigger name manager does a poor job and gets sacked when we slip back into the bottom three. A more humble appointment from the Scottish leagues takes over and we end the season in mid table safety. Year 5: Said manager now has us playing well, we have a run at the playoffs and sneak in. This time our lucky is in and after beating Sheffield United in the final (their 6th straight play off final defeat) we get back into the Prem. However, due to the formation of the European superleague and eventual restructure of the domestic set up in the summer we stay at the second teir, playing in the F-all Premiership where the winners enter a lottery to get into the European competition. Incidentally the winners of the lottery this year was a team from Lithuania.

Used as an indicator of perceived 'boredom' with his domination of the sport, that coupled with the seeming superiority of the care will for some taint the championship Jenson will now innevitably win. Odd, because back in 2004 no such claim was made. From what I remember Rubens performed better in that car too.....

Yes, Rupes is back in charge, and we are now a Hockey club. Next year we will only have a choice of red wine and fois grois in the concourse. Oh, and Lucy Pinder is now a Skate. HTH
