May be a witch hunt. But I don't pay my license fee for that. I was glad the media brought it to my attention. Their behaviour was unnaceptable. End of. I'm glad action is being taken.

This evening is so far excellent.

I don't think so, she was obviously well known. After all, I can't make it to that many games but I recognised her when I saw the picture. A minutes silence at the next game would not be out of order I feel. It would increase awareness of the crime that has occured and offer the appropriate respects to her family.

Perhaps, i've already been into Red Bull in a consultive capacity anyhow. It's always been a dream to get into F1, but considering the mortgage I have and stability offered at my current employer I may stick. Was more asking speculatively to be fair. Good shout though with Red Bull, only a little way down the road.

Any room for an engineering graduate who has been working in tribology for the last 10 months?
-
Most certainly not, I am strong minded enough to make my own decisions. If I have 'radicalised' at all in your perception it is due to the nature of my own character and how disgusted I am with what is happening. Lowe isn't some evil entity, he isn't some malevolent vengeful force, he is simply a bloody fool who is running this football club into the ground with his eccentric ideas and single minded interest in protecting his own investment. He believes (from what I have seen) his history in business qualifies him to run a football club at all levels, and that is f*cking scary, especially as this time around he seems to be taking things even further then before.

Good heavens above yes!

No, when Rupert Lowe returned I gave him a second chance. But the last 5 months have shown he has learned nothing in his two years away. And as for being 'Man' enough to admit I just hate to watch us lose, I went to Cov, watch us got thrashed and was glad to go to a game to see my team, I went to see us v Sheffiled Wednesday last season and managed to make light of it, finding great enjoyment in singing 'Davis for england,' and 'It just like watching Brazil,' when we strung a few passes together, football is not just about winning and losing, I still enjoyed the act of watching Saints. The outcome can be crap but I still love to see my team, the only team I get a true buzz from watching is Saints, but i've had enough of being taken advantage of because of that. If Lowe wishes to treat us as 'customers' rather then fans and supporters, he can have his cake and f*cking well eat it. As for the 'long trip' being a factor. It would be mad to argue otherwise, or use it as evidence for or against my standpoint. We are in a recession right now don't you know it effects us all in our ways and 150 pounds extra per month makes one hell of a difference right now.

No, I want to support a football club, not an eccentric's plaything. Regarding 'tough' times. If you knew me, you would not say that. No battle, no victory, and I am prepared to battle my own needier instincts and avoid funding Lowe's follys until he has gone for good. Living in the midlands thank goodness its easy to get to many away games!

Thanks, I always balls up spelling that.

All ifs. I understand the point you are making and if I eat my words one day so be it. As for denying myself supporting a club, I coach an u15 team in Coventry. I have gained far more joy and happiness being involved with that over the last 5 years then I have had with Saints over the same period. I still get my football fix, even if it is elsewhere.
-
I am inclined to agree, very well put.
-
Yes I do, I believe I am talking with it right now. It is a shame you had to resort to profanity to try and get your point accross, it really is, but what else should I expect... I understand people have different opinions and perspectives to myself, and indeed, a forum such like this is the place to discuss them. I have had to ask myself many questions on the run up to this decision, the key one was why do I support this club? It used to be fun to go, go and see games with friends. Watch the occasional win, enjoy the atmosphere, and the hope, the hope and genuine belief that we could one day challenge for something. The atmosphere is now all but destroyed, my favourite seat on the northam/kingsland corner is gone, my mates no longer have season tickets feeling what is the point as the ground never sells out any more and i'm fed up driving a return trip of 4 or so hours and almost certainly driving back feeling miserable. I cannot afford to do that every two weeks if I get nothing back. It is the impression I get that the current reigm would prefer us to be like Walsall where a few years ago, barely surviving in the championship and being profitable then be like Coventry, who paid a heavy price for relegation but never lost the sense of perspective that they are a football club first and foremost, a club who tried to keep their better players, a club that always tried to push on, a club that has kept its sense of self respect and dignity.
