  1. Excellent result, haven't felt that nervous listening to a game in ages. Lets keep this good form going. I'm on Nigel's bus!
  2. I work in a local authority, and the Dog Wardens work out of the same office as me. We once had a member of the public phone up and accuse the Authority of being racist (they were totally serious) as we issue fines for dog fouling but not cat fouling.
  3. This will be my first away game of the season. Really can't wait. Any ideas how many tickets we have sold for this one?
  4. I love it for this special year. But i'm also looking forward to the return of stripes next season. Plus we do look a bit like palarse (and Man City have a sash too).
  5. I feel really bad about finding that so funny.
  6. Really did not expect that! I really hope we can keep the momentum up by getting three points against Ince and co on Saturday. Lets no forget they turned Sunderland over at the S.O.L. at the weekend. We could be top by Satrurday night. Albeit after playing one more than BHA.
  7. Yeah Hudd won the toss and we changed ends.
  8. http://www.crictime.com/live-cricket-streaming.htm Found it
  9. Anyone know of any links to watch the action online. I assume Iraqgoals don't cover the cricket too?

In this case the weather was probably better at the time it was called off, than it was in the previous few days! Therefore someone has been an idiot. If both teams were happy to train on the pitch and play the game, as it has been suggested, then the idiot is clearly D'urso.
  11. I find it amazing that the idiot Durso felt that because one of the linesmen might have slipped and "gone over on his ankle" it was justified to call the game off. However he had no consideration for the 20000 people that had to travel on roads in sub zero temps, and will have to do the same journey again in the dark in the next few months. The guy has no commons sense. If there was any danger of this happening it should have been called off first thing this morning, before I spent £20 on petrol and wasted 5 hours of my day!
  12. me too
  13. Pick up three tickets for this before kick off yesterday. Lucky I bought them before the game, otherwise I might have changed my mind about going. Any ideas about how many tickets we have sold. Are we still on the 1st allocation of 1500?

    C`mon guys

There is an aweful lot of whinging going on in this thread. I've got tickets for me +1. I'm in Block 43 for a change, and looking forward to seeing a good win. It's the cup, I want to get Poopey in the 3rd round and avenge last year! COYR, bring it on.
  15. Milan is an experience. Went to the San Siro to see Inter v Fiorentina for a mates stag do about two years ago. Found a guy at the ticket office that spoke English and asked for tickets in an area where there would be some atmosphere. He sold us tickets in the Curve Nord (North Stand, Behind the goal), middle tier. They were on £13 each back then, can't imagine they would be much more now. We found our seats and we were right in with the Ultras, loads of singing, they even handed out song sheets in Italian to us. Smoke bombs, massive flags, syncronised displaying of the colours etc. The only down side was that the Curve Nord is split into different groups of Ultras, the Boys San have the middle of the stand, The drinking Ultras have the left of the stand, but we had ended up in the right wing of the Curve Nord, literally! We were in with the "Inter Irreducibili" the skinhead fascist Ultras. People were being beaten up if they did not sing, (we all moved our lips in time). It was a bit scary, but we all survived. I would recommend the Curve Nord, but make sure you are in the middle or left.
  16. Picked up cheap tickets for a couple of friends for both Oldham and Dagenham. £33 including booking fee, for four adults, that's ony £8.25 each. I always like to see a big crowd rather than empty seats, so all you ST holders out there find a friend who wants a cheap ticket.
  17. Yeah I thought the unlimited tickets was too good to be true. But to be fair the original article on the OS does say: "Season Ticket holders needn't feel left out as they have the opportunity to purchase AN additional ticket for just £7.50." I suppose that the "unlimited" bit means that there is not just say 500 tickets available at the reduce rate.
  18. Just to clarify, are you saying I can get 5 extra £7.50 tickets for my mates with my one ST?
  19. I took my Mrs to the Plymouth away game on new years day a few years back. She is usually fairly quiet and sweet and not at all interested in footy, but by half time was effing and blinding at the ref and the home fans. She was told to sit down by the steward. I had taken her to SMS to watch us against Bolton in the prem a few years previous to that, (I think we lost 1-0 to a JJ Okotcha goal), she was quiet at that one because we were in the back of the Northam corner and she was scared because we were high up and it was steep! She is now converted to a saints fan and sticks up for the red army in her office full of skates. She makes me proud.
  20. Please Cortese, don't turn us into the QPR of league 1!
  21. I fluffing love the Taxman. Not only did I get home from work to hear the news of the appeal, but there was also a letter on my door mat from the HMRC containing a cheque for £710.25, an income tax rebate! However, I think Pompeyscot may have a point. Chanrai was only sticking around to collect the parachute payments to recover his investment, this appeal is bad news for him as it de-values the club and means that his nice little 4p per year CVA may get throw out the window. No CVA equals points deductions, rubbish squad, rubbish results, even worse crowds than they normally get and likely relegation. Therefore he is less likely to be able generate income to cover running costs during the coming seasons whilst he waits for those parachute payments to fall in his lap. Now it may make more sense for Chanrai not to regain control of the club following relegation. This leaves the door open for a.n.other (Lloyd's consortium is still sniffing around for a bargain) to come in and take over the club for next to nothing, with no CVA and more importantly no agenda of recouping previous investments. There will be points deducted, but the debts will all have disappeared. Probably a better long term solution for Poopey than Chanrai hanging around.
  22. Dad and I back in block 18 again. Can't wait.
  23. Prices are pretty good in my opinion. £277 for my renewal in the family enc works out at £12.04p per games. I'll be with my Dad (senior) who will be paying £193, which is £8.39 per game. Seems like a bargain to me.
  24. Hmmm, I'll be keeping an eye on it, £1500 seems a bargain, but the running hot is a bit off putting.
  25. Does it come with any service history at all?
