1. Couldn't listen to the game last night, but got a text from DubaiPhil after the 93rd min equaliser .... he thought there was going to be extra time which he wasn't relishing as he was freezing his nuts off. He wasn't feeling so cold when the next text was sent at 6-5 in pens .... quite the opposite I expect Hoping the feel good factor carries on thru Saturday at Leeds and the boys give me a display to keep me warm ... not looking forward to sub zero temperatures I can tell ya
2. LOL .... I guess a few people just got wooshed
3. ..... and you really do want Papa to be your daddy ....******
4. LOL .... obviously a Lowe Luvvie then
5. Spare a thought for me, I'm leaving mid afternoon temperature of about 26c tomorrow .... Leeds at -2 in snow showers will be a bit of a change
6. Absolute f**kin scum picking a time when tens of thousands of people are looking forward to being re united with relatives and friends they maybe haven't seen all year or even longer. Blackmail of the lowest order. As Whitey Grandad has said, and thousands more will be in agreement, no way will they fly BA again. This strike if it goes ahead will alienate the flying public from BA and will lead to even more business and revenue loss leading to more pay cuts and jobs etc. Okay, the staff have voted to go on strike, but I bet most of them are appalled at the dates chosen by the union to go on strike. If the ballot said do you want to go on strike between 22nd of Dec and Jan 3rd or whatever and completely screw over hundreds of thousands of peoples festive season, I bet the count would have been much lower.
7. Not quite but it did rain all day yesterday  Abu Dhabi have just spunked out 10billion something or others to keep us ticking over
8. Time to get out the jester hats YAY.
9. I was going to, but it's been cloudy and even rained for 2 days here in Dubai, so my tan isn't up to scratch so I'll just have to keep my mewbs covered up
10.
I think the stadium announcer on Saturday said blue kit, but don't quote me on it.
Sorry but it had to be done
11. How did he celebrate his 2nd goal
12. Okay I'll admit it .... I don't understand this at all
13. This wasn't really what her boyfriend was expecting when he asked her to 'assume the roast chicken position'
14. Well .... he was down in Abu Dhabi twice last week, once to see The Killers and then for a bit of wheeling and dealing
15. Looks like all the ITK'ers left the building after the takeover We used to be knee deep in 'em
16. Rule 1 . We don't need to rule 1 yours though
17. Just checked my car loan ... the barstewards didn't pay off that for me .... pah humbug. I think Phil is winging his way back to UK ... just a sheer coincidence of course
18. Oh Christ on a bike .... is he the Irish Guy who continually used terms like shut out, end zone and goal minder  Eons ago we had to put up with him for our once a week prem match on ESPN.... totally useless ... you have my utmost sympathy
19. If you're very unlucky you'll get Steve Bull sat on your lap Hairy Testiculed Hamsters.
20. It will all come to a grinding halt on Saturday ... I'm back and will be at Elland Road (unless any SWF members spot me and keep me drinking in the pub all afternoon ) Don't expect any decent results until after Jan 8th when I fly back In my defence the major reason for my p!ss poor track record over the years is all my games are at the start of each season, so it's a bit of a chicken and egg scenario, am I just unlucky coz we are crap at the start of each season, or are we crap coz I am back in the UK  And of course the games I see out here are already jinxed by being Live on SKY Please let me get this monkey off my back and let my 3rd Elland road visit be a lucky one (so far 1 loss and 1 draw so a win is over due)
21. Stop following his tips and then passing them on to us poor feckwits
22. They actually sold 350 tickets, but some coked up scally touts over estimated the appeal of this game and were left with a couple of hundred away tickets in their back pockets LOLZ. I could have made some/all of this up ... but could be a good explanation I remember seeing only about 4 Oldham Supporters in The Archers on a cold January afternoon in 76, which was the day we got the loyalty voucher that gave priority for all ticket games and meant I was good for the semi final and a memorable May Day visit to Wembley. Wonder if any of the Oldham fans used their vouchers
23. It'll be very interesting to see how Norwich approach the fixture, considering they really are in the mix for play offs or even automatic spot. Just how strong is the lure of a Wembley Final for them? Where will their priorities lie? Our situation is complicated, not just by the possibility of resting players in a busy fixture list, but the chance of 4 or 5 players getting suspended. We have 4 more games left before the end of the month, and it is likely that at least 2 of those players will not go that long without another booking so we have to face up to that possibility regardless. If any of those players were booked on Tues they'd miss the Leeds game where we really need to be at our best and strongest to get anything at all. But losing to them would be no disgrace and in my mind the key game will be Colchester, one of the spots we are chasing, forget top spot. In all honesty I'd rather we had our best team for that one rather than the Leeds game if we were given a choice. You can't simply not play a player to protect him from a booking. So strongest line up available on Tues unless anybody is actually carrying a knock, and ideally of course no more bookings till Jan would be nice
24. Somebody mentioned Rob Macaffery .... well he's doing a bang on job here in Dubai, admittedly hosting rather than live commentating the show. We have the misfortune of hearing David Pleat quite often as one of the match experts at live games .... he is an utter and total t@ of the highest order and just the tone of his voice makes me want to kick in the TV  Alan Hansen is right up there in the bellend stakes as well .... and what is it with all the eye liner and make up? He has that much slapped on he looks plastic..... if you attached a few strings to him you could use him in Thunderbirds or Joe 90 And one of his co partners in crime at Scouseland ... Phil Thompson ... never forgiven him for being such a bad sport on Sky when we dicked Liverpoop 4-2 on the Vaentines Day Massacre at The Dell in the snow. Matt's cracking first goal from 30 yards after 25 seconds was put down to a bad clearence by Liverpool, no mention of the power accuracy or technique of the shot. Mick Channon ripped him to shreads .... great viewing. Along the same lines was Mike Osman ripping apart Andy Gray on yet another Matty Supershow with the 2 wonder goals v Newcastle. Gray was trying to justify Branfarts exclusion of Matt from the team even after those 2 goals  Still have a soft spot for David Coleman ... not that we featured much on TV back then, but with Mick Channon playing for England I remember his short and sweet commentary towards the end of a move ....Channon .... 1-0.
