Huddersfield will be the bigger threat - which is why I was hoping Bournemouth could hang on to their lead in extra time - but as others have said we shouldn't fear either of them
At the risk of sounding like sour grapes the Brighton I saw at St Mary's weren't playing with superb style they were playing with niggly, shirt pulling, time wasting, petty fouling, typical South American "efficiency" - but tbf it won them the league. I know all that goes on all the time to some extent obviously, but they seemed to take the gamesmanship (2 minute goal kicks) to a new level! Perhaps that wasn't a typical day, it would be interesting to know how typical it was of their play this season.
I'm sure we must have swooped for, or snapped up... can't imagine we just signed him
Fantastic statement by the club, and a great endorsement of the academy, lets wish him well
There is some very re-assuring information on the BBC website:
"Southampton will close to within two points of second-placed Huddersfield with victory over Charlton"
I didn't realise it was already confirmed, but thats good news.
