  1. I think "poor" is a little harsh. By and large dominated the game but poor in final third. James didn't have much to do.
  2. hahaha... someone needs to register on NSC as NA and post that as a thread title
  3. BRILLIANT- Poyet has now whipped up a mass media storm around his club... a wonderful distraction for their club and preparing for their biggest game of the season. Cheers Gus!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Im loving this... Not only does Gus regularly do Nige's team talks for him with his disrespectful comments... Now he's created a media storm around his own club before their biggest game of the season. PLANK!
  5. Guly MOM for me. Excellent hold up Play, assist and quality header for third Passing from the back executed to perfection. Should have done better from the corner but we were unlucky for their 2nd, it came off someone's back side. At times we ripped them apart. Loved it when after they had been singing "top of the league you're having a laugh " and we scored our third... Top of the league, we're having a laugh!!!!
  6. I havent seen them yet to be honest mate.
  7. its ok now i think
  8. From Skysports.com... McClaren saw the reputation he had built up at Middlesbrough take a significant blow during his time in charge of England, but he enjoyed success in Holland with FC Twente before a stint in Germany with Wolfsburg did not work out. And he has now set his sights on guiding Forest back into the top-flight, with the club having missed out twice in the play-offs under Davies in the last two seasons. On the right bus "It's a great feeling, especially coming here. You can smell the history and tradition of this football club. I've been abroad for three years and I wanted to get back into English football." Steve McClaren Quotes of the week He said: "Everybody has to work together, on the same page, on the right bus going in the right direction. We will work together to improve this club.
  9. My gut feeling too. I watched the extended highlights of celebrations on Saints Player and I felt Harding's body language didn't quite match that of the others. Just a hunch he might know already. It makes sense, we have so many left full backs, arguably with more talent.
  10. In all likelihood they will lose CMS and Boyd even if they do go up- this will turn them into a poor force going forward to add to an already exisiting diabolical defence!!
  11. Just on the off chance- 1 adult and 1 under 12 ticket required- anywhere. 07740 723647
  12. Yeah, on the pitch now with the players- hope he enjoys every minute
  13. Thank you

  15. Hapy Birthday son
  16. MLT and Benali are no longer on the bus or in the building and havent been for some time. MLT nearly stopped the bus ever getting going. They should just review their behaviour, draw a blue line under it. Cortese is taking care of business and its about winning games of football simple as that.
  17. Thanks that worked for me too....although logged on to hear the goal
  18. I liked the body language of the strikers when the other ones scored...all seemed really pleased for each other, including Barney, who must feel he's not in the first XI
  19. With hindsight yes... but it was when we scored he got scared, my guess is he wouldve reacted the same at any match- I just think he was too young. I wanted to make sure he got a buzz on his first game and wanted to come again- I thought he was ready, he wasnt. It was a judgement call based on me knowing my own son
  20. Its interesting how close it is and how many people are saying Dickson is getting better. I suspect once he reaches his full potential, Dickson will win a similar poll. Harding has maybe reached his peak? Try again at the end of the season
  21. Took my son at just turned 5 to Saints V Pompey last year- as he'd been asking to come for a while. I made a mistake with the match choice- a little too intense!! He wasnt bad, but freaked out at the noise for the goals and I think thats a common issue for the young ones- you could put them off for ages afterwards. Incidentally, he is finally, almost a year later expressing some interest to come again. He is also much more into football in general now- so maybe 6-7 is the perfect age
  22. Good luck with your sons first match! I picked Saints V Pompey last year for MY 5 year old- big mistake.. Apart from the scoreline, he was petrified, even in the family enclosure
  23. Leaving Bristol in an hour
