Society didn't collapse in any country. Are you saying the UK measures were perfect and nothing can be learnt in case of a similar scenario in the future?

How many people here have "worked through it" feeling like crap with a flu or whatever? The point is, a healthy truck driver could still deliver the fuel to keep society going even if he feels poorly.

I didn't ask for a medal, I'm saying that many people were able to and society didn't collapse. And yes, social distancing / social limiting to keep the virus away from vulnerable people. I suppose you think Hancock did a good job letting infected patients back into care homes.

Most working age people were fine to keep society going. I worked the whole way through it, if carehomes and hospitals had been properly ringfenced (thanks Hancock) a much better balance could have been struck.

Not what people who work with kids have reported.

Many did die from normally survivable conditions though.
