And not having the most basic emotional intelligence to realise it shouldn’t be plastered over social media.

House’s posts say Armstrong is on the list of those he’d keep from what I can see. Personal opinion, but I think Armstrong always comes across quite well. The others on the list don’t surprise me. Downes, THB, Stephens, Manning all to go.

Why on earth do you think we’d only attract an owner that is found at much smaller, poorer clubs than ours? Such a properly scared small-time mindset, don’t rock the boat, we just *might* get another bad owner and we have no chance of attracting a good one, so let’s put up with these for evermore. Utterly batshit insane.

Liebherr was great for us, but I think it unlikely we’d have just languished in the lower leagues for years without him, we’re a good sized club with associated infrastructure, we’d likely be bought up by someone decent. The club needs a complete reset and fresh start and that means getting rid of SR I’m afraid.

Assume he’s been on the bench most weeks for Hamburg? Not surprising therefore that they’d need a replacement sorted! Sounds like it’ll still go through, but not particularly well managed reading between the lines.

I love everything about that era, including the pitch, would happily swap it for what we have today. That said, quality of football has definitely improved, wouldn't get away with some of that defending if Saintsweb had been in existence in the late 60s

Completely agree with this post. Bragg was very good yesterday, I think he has been every time he has played these season. Also your point on Robinson, thought he looked really bright when he came on, forward looking, positive, trying to beat a man and make something happen.

I have no idea if this lad is good or not, but I assume we’ve disbanded our scouting network and just go with Spors’ contacts on who we can get from Germany now?
-
I hold my hands up, I was happy with Eckert when he was made permanent, I thought we might have uncovered a really bright up-and-coming young manager. Hindsight suggests that was wrong and we continue to regress. All that said, our problems clearly run far deeper than whoever is currently in-charge of the first team day-to-day.
-
That was awkward watching some of that, poor kids!
-
Why would he come to us if not to play? He can sit on the bench in Germany.
-
Really hard to know what sort of quality to expect looking at his career history, but it won’t take much to be better than our current incumbents, so this is a positive move.
-
Surely Wood is in as a physical presence and isn’t considered primarily as a ball playing centre back?
-
I thought Bragg was very good when he came on. Good to have the option of Jelert at right back. Would have taken a point before kick off, but still not a great performance.
-
I doubt there is an edict from RA stating “five at the back at all times”, but there could well be an expectation that managers have to commit to data driven decisions and one of those is a commitment to this particular system? I think there is too much attention on five at the back, we have bigger problems but we do seem very much wedded to this system regardless of how each game pans out.
-
Makes little difference on the grand scheme of things. I’d probably go for a back 4, but it doesn’t warrant all the attention it seems to be getting.
-
Said that when we signed him. Not sure what anyone was expecting.

They obviously sing it better, being Napoli’s main curva etc, but I think our lyrics are far far better and actual cover the club’s history nicely. 99% of football songs are copied from other clubs, may as well just choose the good one’s to copy.

If our summer 2025 transfer window was anything to go by we can assume we'll be either going back to find the best up-and-coming players from the German leagues or see if we can persuade the best of the Championship to come to us. For all the talk about complex scouting and analysis, the best recruitment is often when we keep it simple, we have someone who knows a particular market well and is able to go out and get a few good deals done - Spors in the Germany this summer just gone and Koeman back in 2014 as examples.
-
Where would a further midfielder fit into our starting line-up? Or another full-back into our squad? Unless we're sacking off both Danish right-back options perhaps. We could do with some kind of target man up-front who would then also double up to help defensively with corners etc, but otherwise I can't see what else would change. Apart from a "No.09", are we particularly lacking in height as a team?
-
Only four stitches. Great footage of Adams playing as an inverted full-back, Hurlock finding space between the lines and Dowie finishing like Haaland. Branfoot well ahead of the game back then.
-
If they meet the requirement (which many do as are long-standing loyal fans like you say) why do they need their own allocation?
-
How come regional supporters groups still get their own allocations, taking precedence over those who have enough away games against their name?
-
What has the Fan Advisory Board had to say on the matter? Surely the club asked them for their input?
