I see. But if the argument is when the police arrived it was too late to save his life surely he must have been really struggling?
-
Why did they arrest and handcuff Nowak though? That’s the bit I don’t get. On what grounds did they make that decision? And even if they couldn’t see the stab wounds, if the argument is it was too late to save his life then clearly he’d really be struggling at that point?
-
Am I missing some sort of joke here? "Some sort of scrap", "very British story", "too acclimatised"? Probably the weirdest post I have ever read on here.

Partly answering my own question here. Solak was just answering the journalists questions and whilst we might be confident he won’t be banned don’t know for certain to state that expressly in an interview. Also suggests any ban will be met with a well prepared legal team this time.
-
Taking Solak’s words at face value suggests they don’t know what’s happening with a potential fa ban and that is currently hanging over us as a change of manager at an unknown time. The club needs to get on top of that one way or another, it can’t be left open ended too much longer into the summer.

Do you know why his brother not getting done for perverting the course of justice? I can’t work that out.

I agree today's statement is generally weak for a number of reasons and it really wouldn't have taken much effort to stick a paragraph in recognising and acknowledging the supporters, but there was an apology in the original statement from a week ago. Club statement: League Arbitration Panel appeal | Southampton FC Official Site "We know how painful this moment will be for our supporters, players, staff, commercial partners and the wider community who have given so much backing to the team throughout the season and we apologise once again to everyone impacted by this." and "We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to our supporters for the support, patience and loyalty they have shown throughout an incredibly difficult period."

Why is the Canadian Women's team judgement/punishment seen as the marker against which Tonda will be judged? How does one sporting authority's judgement influence the decision of another, are there certain authorities that hold greater weight internationally than others?
-
That said, I’m sure they all knew. All guilty of being bloody sloppy throughout this farce and some serious lessons now learnt.

Don’t think Spors would be doing the hotels and flight bookings?
-
Yeah, fair shout, reading it again I think there are two separate sources. Some of them to read as though prepared for future reference. Let’s see the whole doc for context.
-
That suggesting they’re drawing a line and ready to move on?
-
Are all these quotes from Whatsapp from Jason Taylor? Read like they were written knowing he was going to flag up these messages at a later date.
-
Agreed, unless there’s more to come out, that’s not much of a bombshell is it.
-
What would people think of having Bazunu as 2nd choice keeper?
-
Putting the Tonda stuff to one side for a minute, just looking through his profile, going from Bromley and Swindon to Sports Republic must have been some jump. Wonder how they sourced him from everyone else available at that point in time.
-
Would normally have released them by now I think, news of the last two weeks made timing a bit trickier. Reckon we’ll get some decent pricing and a good take-up again.

You’re such an angry unhappy person aren’t you. I hope this website provides you with the catharsis needed from whatever is troubling you.

EMEA President. A decent level, but I’d guess in reality it’s just a senior business admin role. Very little public facing, thinking on your feet to make deals, or crisis management. Would expect him to be fairly proficient with corporate governance though.

Can’t be beyond the imagination that Gibson offered this lad some kind of incentive to make any future negative impacts on his career worthwhile.
-
You’d think future employers would think twice about giving him a chance, no way he could be trusted.
-
“I don’t feel too bad to be honest” 🤣
-
Again, surely it can’t be a case of being able to sack staff to avoid a further punishment whenever a club gets caught doing something wrong. Just more evidence of very badly defined rules/punishment processes.
-
Also, hypothetically, there’s no time-bar on such claims? So a club could drop something in at any time they fancied?! This is the problem with rules, they always require more and more rules.
-
Hypothetically, let’s say there’s evidence of us spying on 15 extra games last season. By the precedent set that would mean we get a further 30-45 points deduction? 🤣 At what point would it be capped?!
