  1. Great thread. The only one's I'd disagree with were Bridge ahead of Dennis and I'd have tried to find a place in the first team for Stevie Williams. He and Bally together were the best midfield pairing I've seen at the Club.Although who I'd leave out for him, it's impossible to decide. If we came back and did the same thing in 20 years, this would still be the same team. Anyone who could get anywhere near it, will be sold before they reach the required peak. Just take a minute to think about the fantastic players that couldn't even make either team. Some of us 40+ are lucky enough to have seen most of them play, and as bad as things are now, Lowe can not take that away from us........
  2. I have never heard of a PLC Chairman starting the AGM by reading out a letter about how wonderful he is and what a great job he's doing. Particulary when the results of the Company were heading downwards at such a rapid rate . Perhaps this has happened before, and you could let us know when, and at which Company.
  3. Lowe's biggest mistake? There have been so many, that it's hard to choose. Grey was a mistake in hindsight, but may have been worth a go. However he then did the same thing with Wiggely . Keeping Redknapp after relegation, when it was obvious he wasn't interested. The whole SCW thing. Not to mention The Radio Station and Finncial arm of SLH. He then came back to make even more mistakes.Nigel Pearson, Jan and Wotte, and his behaviour at the AGM, all spring to mind.
  4. It's just our luck to have the games worst Chairman at the Club......
  5. I think this game could be the tipping point, if we go behind early I think it'll kick off. I'm surprised it's taken this long, there aren't many sets of supporters that would be so tolerant with people running the Club so badly.
  6. I must hold my hands up and say sorry if we're relegated. I did moan and complain following our loss against Doncaster. Mistakes like getting rid of Pearson, employing Jan and Wotte, loaning/selling older players, buying rubbish like Pulis are nothing compared to the fatal error I made.
  7. Did they blame the supporters?
  8. Did Woolworths or MFI bosses blame the customers? The buck stops with the man at the top, not the supporters. We don't pick the Manager or the players. We didn't loan out or sell our best players. This time next year when we're stuck in mid table of league 1, will it still be our fault?
  9. Wotte was making decisions about the first team all season (Dyer's contract). Woote and jan were spun by the O/S as a pair. Therefore Wotte has had some input into the position we find ourselves in.
  10. Whilst not being "Britains hottest prospect" as a Manager, I still think he'll be a Premier League Manager before Lowe's a Premier league Chairman again. I dont think Leicester would be top of the league with Wotte or Jan in charge.
  11. Wasn't Wotte part of the Management team that did the damage. He's on record saying it was his idea to give Dyer a new contract. This shows he was involved with the first team squad and deciding who was a part of it. They came as a pair, so he must take some blame.
  12. Funny how there was no criticism of this contract at the time, or when Lowe exercised the get out. It's starting to attract a bit of flack as we move nearer to a Lowe inspired relegation, strange..........
  13. I've started to see this "why didn't Crouch give Pearson a longer contract" line on a couple of forums now. So it's obviously the new Lowe PR line (shows he must be getting desperate). As someone pointed out, it was an 18 month contract with a get out after 6. Entirely sensible in the circumstances, afterall if Pearson had turned out as poor as Jan, and on a 3 year contract, Crouch would have been critised left right and centre.
  14. Because we signed him when he was injured, we could of waited until the Jan window if we really wanted to sign him. Why, if moneys so tight are we paying a bloke whose injured, it's not that there were other Clubs after him......
  15. The signing of young Pulis stinks to high heaven.Something is not right, either the people running our Club are complete fools, or there's something dodgey about it......
  16. Facts are facts and in football these facts tell a story. Results let you know the strength of a team comapred to others, and attandences show how happy the paying public are with a particular team. In any other industry had the man in charge lost so many customers over such a short space of time, and be so out of line with the rest of the sector, he'd be called a failure and be facing the sack. How people can try and defend Lowe in the face of these figures is beyond me. Results are not good enough and we're losing supporters in their droves. The man at the top must take reponsability for that. Had we been averaging 30,000 and in the top 2, I'm sure Lowe and his supporters would be hailing his Chairmanship.
  17. My older boy is 19, he's seen a few great Premiership games , Matt Le Tiss, and off course Villa Park Semi and the Final. So he's had some great days My youngest is 9, he's only been going 3 seasons, Sheff Utd and Southend before the play offs is about as good as it's got for him...............
  18. Didn't Lowe tear down what Leon Croch was trying to achieve, look where his alternative has got us.
  19. If we're 10 points clear in League 1 next season, I'll eat my hat..........
  20. I'm sure The Skates wished they had Rupert in charge instead of MM for all those years. I'm sure Leicester fans wish Rupert had bought their Club instead of MM.
  21. I seem to remember similar rallying cries when we slipped out of the Premiership.
  22. I remember my Dad got me a part time job with his mate 35 years ago........
  23. What they would have done is accused Lawrie's son of feathering his own nest. What would people have said if Lawrie signed another Manager's son who was injured and not good enough.
  24. Lowe not retaining Pearson was a significant event in my opinion. This together with the rubbish that we couldn't have afforded him put the Club on this course from the very start. Had Crouch ran the club in the same manner as Lowe , made the same decisions and showed the same arrogance, then I'm sure people would have been protesting against him.
  25. Doesn't he realise our brand of football is making people sit up and take note. Perhaps Chris Iwelumo should have a word with him........
