  1. Why waste your last post on something you know nothing about? Had Leicester won Coventry would have gone down, you plum..........
  2. If he manages to keep us up, he will have pretty much united the fanbase and all supporters will respect the guy. I think the next move is therefore obvious. We dont offer him another contract and give the job to some bloke from the Belgian 3rd Division.........
  3. Dont know if this has been posted, but according to Talksport Mark Cooper from Kettering is being linked with a role at Saints.
  4. And he replaced BOTH Dodd and Gorman.
  5. We had the same Chairman against Man U,and the same playing policy.
  6. Mick Dennis is a Norwich fan, they've had a pretty poor season and yet their gates have been good. Personally, I think he's hit the nail on the head.
  7. The rules as I understand them is the following: After a certain date the 10 point deduction is in effect suspended. If the Club would have gone down anyway without the 10 point deduction, then it's applied to the follwing season. If the Club would be safe, then the 10 points are added this season, meaning you have to finish 11 points above the relegation zone. Not sure when the cut off date is. As for Sale, I have a mate who works for a Press agency, he's told me before anything Sale says comes from Rupert, as they know each other quite well. Dont have any proof, but he does work in the press.
  8. Personally I think the signing of Pulis is a serious matter. We have no money and yet sign a guy not good enough and who is injured. Had Harry Redknapp signed Pulis' injured son, would questions not be asked, would accusations not be thrown. A deal is dodgey regardless of who makes it, and this one stinks to high heaven.
  9. Whose in charge of getting the results, and who employed him?
  10. Ex players, should not be treated like this. I am sure Mick would be disgusted , that an ex team mate was treated like this in a suite that beared his name.
  11. I dont think Lowe will sack Jan. If he does it will be an admission that he made the wrong choice. How can he continue to blame Crouch ect for our present situation, if he's then sacked his choice of Manager after half a season. The fact he's had to sack him is an admision that he got it wrong and therefore has contributed to our plight. Can anyone seriously see him taking any blame?
  12. Fact is, until Lucy Pinder entered the Big Brother house, I was just about to pull her.........
  13. They got a decent Manager in though, with Jan we've no chance. What a pity we couldn't appoint someone like Pearson........Oh, hang on.
  14. Money is the only reason he got involved in the first place and it's the only reason he is here. If he could make £100,000 profit as a League 1 Club, he would rather do that than post a loss as a CCC Club.
  15. The worrying thing is, the longer the youngsters work with him, the worse they seem to get. I can not think of one outfield player, whose got better as the season's gone on.
  16. It should be up to the manager as to whether he wants him as part of the squad. At a proper football Club the Manager would make a decision and the Chairman would try and find a way to pay this £150,000. Whether through selling/loaning someone else, using the proceeds from the Cup game or even heaven forbid dipping into his own pocket (as I'm sure Leon would). I get the impression Lowe would rather cut his nose off to spite his face, then try and keep Saga. He's put all his eggs in one basket and is not turning back. I fully expect him to be loaned out to another CCC side.
  17. If the Club wanted him to play they would have ensured the clearence was there in time. I bet if he was a 17 year old Dutchman on £250 a week the clearence would have come through. Either they didn't want him to play and are lying to us, or they want him to play but are so incompetant they couldn't arrange a simple fax, despite having weeks notice. Either way it's typical of the way the Club's run nowadays.
  18. Kelvin Davies out on loan in Jan.
  19. Just to clear up, I know he's a Jock, but he knows the English game.
  20. Cant believe Forest have gone down the English route. There are plenty of Dutch second division Managers who'd do the job on the cheap. I guess their Chairman's just not forward thinking enough.
  21. If Jan was in charge and Lowe Chairman of Leicester we would
  22. I can not believe some people let Lowe and Jan off the hook on the basis that he's cheap. Jan was a diaster waiting to happen, there was nothing on his Managerial CV to suggest any thing else. To think, the stick Crouch got for appointing Pearson and now look at us. I'm sure Blackpool have less of a wage bill than us and yet with a combination of a good Manager, experianced pro's and good loan signings have managed to punch above their weight in this league. The people who bang on and on about "we have no money" as if that's the reason Jan got the job are missing the point. If he's on £1,000 a week, I'm sure there's someone out there who'll do it for £750, Nick Holmes perhaps. If you accept the job you should be judged upon results, not how cheap you are. God, I'd do it for nothing, we would get relegated, but in some of your eyes that would be ok, because I was cheap. The people who appointed Jan, and Jan himself are responsable for the position we find ourselves in. No amount of "we have no money" can change that fact...........
  23. "Leon Crouch was at fault as Reading pinched a late equaliser".........
  24. I agree with this, it would make a powerful statement, and could not be spun any other way by Lowe and the Club...........
