Depends doesn't it? If you are celebrating it and see london as an international hub, or whether you think that it is an issue and that only white people should be allowed to live there. Its still majority white, and its still majority british, if that makes you feel a bit better?

At my work we are increasing paternity leave for iwd. It has a major impact on women's earnings when men are able to take their share of caring responsibilities.

Not sure if you are asking in good faith, but it's 17th October.

Can any experts here let me know if there are any other jobs where you can resign after two days and be entitled to a 16k redundancy payment? I thought roles were made redundant, not people? And I thought resigning is not the same? And that usually there is a minimum term? If anyone knows any other sector that works this way, I'd be keen to know so I can do some job hopping? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68503255

Willfully stupid from the Hunt. Most of those jobs are focused on protecting authorities from expensive litigation, or ensuring that authorities fulfill their duties, eg for disabled staff or customers. The amount of time and money they spend on diversity schemes and recruiting people from different backgrounds, which seems to be the government's fear, is minimal. A dozen cases kept out of court would pay for these schemes a hundred times over. Getting rid of them will cost money in the long run, see Birmingham and Southampton for examples where not enough was spent on such schemes, with dire financial consequences...

That's because hadrian was publicly queer, and he built a famous wall. The two aren't linked, the gay history part is all about hadrian. And he built a famous wall. It's only gb news and the mail that have projected the queer history part on the wall and not on hadrian.

If you thought the exact opposite, you could have posted the same article. It's not clear if places are overdiagnosing or underdiagnosing...

He was on. I don't have the tech skills to add a screenshot but at 20secs in you can pause it, and if you look at pitch pattern, you can see he is further back into the dark green than their left back.

Smallbone made a driving run that gave brooks the space to shoot, as well as supplying the cross for Adams goal. He was a key figure, far from peripheral, and helped get the crowd going too. He's a crisp passer of the ball. He also really wants to play for us. We should support him when he plays. I'd be happy with him or aribo playing, it's nice to have two in form players for that position.

Think that's harsh, you are missing the silent majority. I reckon about 35%, maximum.

Sunak has just given a speech that is the very definition of woke, welcoming diversity and celebrating multiculturalism and anti-racism. Not sure how that will sit with some of his backbench. Is he trying to force them over to reform?

Smallbone has 87%pass completion rate Aribo has 85% pass completion rate

A few diversity and woke initiatives and edi officers could have saved 52m for our local council... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-68433863.amp

Should be an easy win against klopps kids, they will certainly be underdogs, and surely couldn't get two surprise wins in a row, if we don't win we will be bottlejobs. -
I think he was subbed on, not off, after rabiot got injured in the first half.

Chelsea current players on the pitch have an average age of 22.9, but that doesn't fit the narrative...
-
Think we've got a good chance against these "young Liverpool pups who are defying the odds" right now by even being on the same pitch as chelsea, who themselves will be devastated if they miss this easy chance to win a cup. Plucky plucky Liverpool... average age of 24 you know.

So, now that islamists are in charge(source; braverman), what changes do we expect to see? Im guessing, similar to when the taliban took control in Afghanistan, that one of the first things will be the restriction of education for girls and women. Do we know if there is a bill coming yet on that? How quickly can we expect it, because my daughter is still going to school at the moment and I want to know if I should take her out now? Also, now that the islamists are in charge, shouldn't we be changing the prime minister? And what is the impact of this on the monarchy? (Or on parliamentary procedure?) Also, why is this not bigger news? Usually when a new group takes charge of the government it is front page news, I can't even find it on the BBC homepage. Is this the start of mass censorship?

He wasn't making himself bigger or taking up an unnatural position, his arms were down. Never a pen in a million games, under the current rules.
-
We already know that 52% of the population falls under that category, more than enough to engineer another 4 yrs.
-
I'd expect 13 points for us from those, maybe 11 if things goes badly, can't imagine losing to any of those. For Leeds, I'd predict 7 or 9 it's. Which leaves us looking pretty tidy if all goes as you'd expect.

There would have been no complaints on the first goal if he had not even dived for it. If he had been a bit slower, or stood flatfooted, people would have just accepted he had no chance, he was blindsided by the defender in front and saw it late. Also a good finish. If the positions were reversed, and it was brooks scoring that, everyone would just be saying it was a quality finish, not a single person would blame the keeper.

Excruciatingly, it seems they've all been instructed not to use pronouns for brianna and use her name only, and it's leading to some very odd sentences and slip ups 🤔
-
Turns out it was starmers fault. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68237826 And he's stopped using Brianna's pronouns now, preferring to just make nonsensical sentences instead. Hard to know which depths they will go to next, the dearth of quality in the conservative party right now is astonishing.
