I think its nonsense. We are currently around 6/4 for promotion with the bookies which includes going up via the playoffs. So taking account of the bookies margin and the possibility of going up via the playoffs I reckon it is more like a 25% to 30% chance. Still, very happy with that.

Too risky. Look at Derby on Sat. Keeper sent off on first half. No way would they have gone on to win without a sub keeper ... even against McClaren's losers!

Saints dominated the first half, Forest the second. I think we deserved it though. Not convinced by Hoover and the makeshift full backs.

Always have a pre-season bet (heart ruling head!). I'm on at 11/2 to be promoted which was the best I could see at the time. Didn't take the 18/1 for winning the league though ... I may regret that ... or then again wouldn't that be something!! Best price on promotion now 5/2 ... early days but nice to be rated in the first three in betting (with Leicester and West Ham)
