Very good solid side, they bullied us off the pitch last season. RB is obviously a problem for us, but the options are basically, AMN, Lyanco, Elyounoussi or JWP. Not sure I fancy any of those really, who plays left wing for them? Almiron? Fingers crossed Lavia can sit in alongside AMN and maybe JWP RB?

I fully expect us to try, now Tuchel has gone, but whether he would come now or Chelsea would now let him leave I don't know. He's played quite a bit for Chelsea this season.

We also seem to have less of the ball in that area, and we don't generally stretch the game like Broja or even Long did last season. We play into feet, or try and counter. No idea whether it's accurate or not, but feels like Stuart Armstrong wins quite a few free kicks, and he's not really played much either. Probably all contributing factors.

I doubt it's too much of an issue, they'll have players lined up already. Obviously it's far from ideal, and he needs replacing, but I'm not sure they need to make a rushed appointment.

And I completely disagree with you. For the moment, Edozie is doing fine coming off the bench. He offers pretty much no protection to the left back, and he will need to develop that side to his game to be a regular started in the league for me. Mara IMO, apart from one good moment vs Leeds, has looked a million miles away from a premier league striker. Also fine him coming off the bench, but even then he never looks like scoring. Although I do not rate Adam Armstrong, he has been involved in some of the goals, and a lot can be said for some continuity in the side. I think we are starting to look better with a settled team, Elyounoussi deserves his place, Adams is a shoe in, A Armstrong gives us a bit of pace, plus Stuey Armstrong playing a part too. I expect to see the likes of Edozie and Mara play against Sheff Weds in the cup, and slowly become more involved as the season goes on.

Yup, it’s definitely something that Ralph has enabled us to do, we did it a few times last year, when Diallo started on the right of midfield. Great to have the option to mix it up depending on how the games going

They have some very decent attacking players, Olise, Edouard, Eze and Zaha. We will need to defend well. Zaha vs Lyanco could be an interesting one...! Not sure whether we might go back to 4 atb, or whether we're set to go 3-5-2 with no KWP. AMN or Elyounoussi can do a job at RWB, no doubt. Difficult to argue against the same team really. Possibly Adam Armstrong out, but he does offer a bit of pace to the side. Should be a good day out regardless, although very annoyingly, I'm at a wedding so not going to be there! COYS

Doesn’t seem much for. Premier league player these days. Similar boat to Moussa, do you risk losing him for nothing, or can he do a job for us over the next few years and protect the asset? He’s probably worth an extension IMO, depending on what the plan is with investment moving forward.
