I used to work on the principle of 'Live and let Live' but maybe next time I'm at SMS should I look around for some faces I don't recognise and find a way to abuse them ? IMHO the word 'moronic' does not do justice to people who actually do think this way ! As there is no scale to assess Saints fanhood, I suggest that we all get on with life and be thankful that we have an interest which brings us pleasure !

No I am not saying that grafitti is worse than (ie.) murder, what I am saying is that it is better not to seek to excuse such behaviour ! The recent 'zero tolerance' policy in New York proved that crimes like this could be vastly reduced with short sharp penalties rather than relying on (so called) 'social initiatives' ! Ps. In any civilised society (whether it be the poorest of the poor or the richest of the rich!) respect for the dead is taken as the absolute minimum standard of human behaviour ! Given that the dead in this case fell for the benefit of future generations of British people, the crime becomes even more reprehensible ! Sadly some seek to defend the indefensible, which only perpetuates the problem ! If I suggested that he be made to walk around the city centre with a sandwich board stating " I defaced the war memorial " there would be a bl**dy outcry, but I can't think of a better way of him learning his lesson properly (cue left wing abuse!) !!

I consider telephone 'cold calling' as an invasion of privacy and have used the BT (so called!) blocking service ! It is patently wrong that companies acquire your personal details and sell them on for profit (IMHO). I appreciate that people have to earn a living but the risk of scams is much higher by trading this way and also much of what they tell you is boll0x ! I once had a bird from Talktalk on the line extolling their virtues but even when I informed her that I would not use the company if they were the last one on planet Earth (I'd previously had a bad experience with them!) she kept on and on.... Basically I don't need it and get well p1ssed off when they interrupt my dinner etc ! Yes, I am an old f@rt, but I have no sympathy whatsoever for any of them now !

If you have ever played football you will realise that a teammate who is always available, never shirks a tackle, plays it simple, has a great engine, is always focused, always driven and leads by example is a great asset to have on the pitch ! He may not possess the lavish creativity of others but is essential to the make up of the total unit ! Dean Hammond comes into this category and I feel sure that the manager and the other players appreciate this too ! I also don't believe that he is captain for no reason ! All IMHO of course !

Let's not disturb the fluency of this legendary thread please ! When they start to be fair to the charities and creditors then maybe we'll think about it, but until then we reserve the right to expose and abuse ! It's only fair after all, eh
