Can some of you lot please get to grips with the fact that many successful, profitable businesses use debt as a positive tool when it suits them ! There are many reasons/situations why a company may prefer some sort of debt to no debt at all ! All we (as fans) need to be concerned with is the club strategy, how it affects the team and it's performance and leave the rest to ML and his management hierarchy !!! For too long now we have been involved with PLC shenanigans, boardroom bickering and the like. Time to forget all of that nonsense and concentrate on the footy, I say !!

Like all other sensible, rational people I will be calling for the return of our previous chairman who will come riding in on a white charger with a new revolutionary policy designed to uplift the diehard fans who will stand shoulder to shoulder with their long term messiah !! (Yes, it is a ridiculous thread!).

I absolutely agree that it will be 'bumpy' ! The problem is that we have too many fans with unreasonable expectations, particularly concerning timings ! Some recent posts on here started accusing AP of being slow to make signings after only 5 days in the job which is clearly nonsense, others have already questioned ML's financial commitment less than one month after saving our club ! What chance do we have with people like this in our midst ?? We have to anticipate that the management team will do their best in difficult circumstances and see where that leads us. Beyond that, we have to evaluate our position every few months and improve where necessary. It may be that we get off to a flyer but if not, we will just have to be patient and realistic, which I know already will be impossible for some !!!

SueWhistle is gonna like this : I have seen one ladies match in my life and that was in Italy (Trani, near Bari) where a business associate of mine was the club owner ! I was treated like a king (I was his biggest customer after all !) and shown around the very impressive facilities before watching from the director's box ! I think there were about 3,000 people there ! They played Juventus and it was not only a good standard but thrilling as well ! I had a great day out and swore that I would attend ladies matches when I got back home which (as it happens) I never did ! Perhaps because of this, I think some of the posts on here are totally out of order !
