A potential good manager will have contacts with specified targets for the right league level ! That really has been a major problem in Saints recent past. Rupesy and his naive sidekicks from NL clearly had no idea how to get results in the Championship! I pray that the incoming consortium appoints a true 'football man' to the position of manager (not 'head coach' BTW) and let's him pursue a football strategy with minimal interference! If the new board is virtually anonymous then that will be an even bigger bonus ! From the new dawn onwards I would love to discuss the Saturday experience, the away trips, the team, the match, the transfers, the injuries, the suspensions, the crappy ref, the league table, etc, etc.... Forget all the bollarks of PLC's, shares, directors, etc, etc... Let's get back to the passion we all share, nothing more, nothing less !!

As the original poster on this thread I am happy that you did not start at the very beginning cos if you had you would have learnt that SOUTHEND had been docked 10 points and it would apply NEXT SEASON ! 2 minor details have since emerged, STOCKPORT have been docked -10 to be applied THIS SEASON ! On the bright side I have achieved a personal record for the longest thread of my Saintsweb existence, deep joy, deep joy !!

Basically the March deadline and the penalty only applies to teams who are close to the relegation zone but not to others ! Very, very fair and equitable that is, eh ??? The FL are a bunch of jokers !!!

Christ, someone starts a thread saying that Lowe 'might' be in the director's box at Forest and total hysteria takes over ! It automatically leads to the fact that he will again take over the club ??? I am as anti RL as the next man but surely we should wait until something actually happens before getting angry and suicidal ! There are many people in jail for life having acted on suspicion rather than fact so my advice is to let it be for the moment, who knows you might just be pleasantly surprised !!
