I think you may well be right about this ! There has been talk about further payments down the line (ie. 5mil if we get back to the Prem) and future gaurantees are probably harder to pin down than immediate funds ! Let's hope that this is the case because I reckon we need ready cash to start us off with a half decent squad in the 3rd div !!!

My son has a 'LE TISSIER 7' signed and worn shirt (Friends Provident version) and it stinks of BO so has obviously not been washed ! (Yes, even God's get smelly armpits) ! His mother has tried to wash it several times as she reckons it will disintegrate over time although we think that she just can't live with the thought of anything even remotely unhygenic !!

I think that you are about right but it's quite poor considering that I just read that Norwich have already sold 18k ! I reckon that the number of ST's could improve dramatically if a) the new owners look potentially exciting, b) they price the tickets at a bargain level (average under £300) ?? Would be nice to get a bit of atmosphere cos the place can be a morgue when half full !

Rupert has a fundamental misunderstanding of the importance of relationships ! The football club is an institution within the city and as such the supporters, the media and indeed, the main sponsor are all absolutely vital to the cause ! To have sour relations with all 3 groups is unforgivable and was gauranteed to spell disaster as inevitably it did ! Whatever one's opinion of LM and LC may be, at least they realise that communication between the club, the fans, the Echo and (I imagine) Flybe are supremely important, something which the deluded Mr Lowe clearly does not grasp !

You worry me FF, as one of the more informed guys on here, you do not seem convinced that we will extricate ourselves from the mess of administration ! The alternative is not something that I have seriously considered, perhaps because I am in denial, but please give me hope not despair !!

Been through all this before but put simply I would say that he does not have the contacts to get the right players for this level ! A complete fresh start is imperative IMHO !

There are 2 issues here which I feel some are a little confused about : a) £100k for a CEO challenged with a major turnaround is relatively 'peanuts', particularly in the football world (even pro rata for a full working week!). b) General incompetence and the ability to alienate customers meant that his performance level was unacceptable and led inevitably to administration ! IMHO (a) is no big deal, (b) was a disaster ! Ps. I am not a 'denyer' (mainly because the word does not exist) nor am I 'in denial' !

My brother is a ST holder at Leicester and reckons that qualitywise L1 is not that much different from the CCC ! That said, his team had a decent manager and romped it to be champions so perhaps he was slightly blinkered ! Interesting though that had Leics been docked 10 points they would not have achieved automatic promotion, so 27 wins and 15 draws will probably not be good enough ! Mmmm.. ?

That's happened to me on the golf course too ! I have no problems with the players going out after the season has finished, they should live by tight rules during the season (particularly before matches) but when it's over then it's up to them !!
