  1. Enjoyed the match today, it was played in a good spirit with the notable absence of diving, cheating, harassing the referee and yellow/red cards ! Felt we controlled the 2nd half and I wasn't even particularly nervous (certainly compared to last week) fora change ! Only downside obviously was the injury to big Fraser but we march on......
  2. Ooh eck, there's trooble at mill
  3. I agree with the general point but feel strongly that he 'bottled' the 2nd Matic booking, he went for his pocket straight away before seeing it was Matic and then changed his mind !
  4. MoM Schneiderlin with Mane and Forster close behind ! Great point !
  5. Leicester, Reading and Sheff Wed all now have Thai owners and none seem to be setting the world on fire ! I have done business with Dalian Wanda in the past (around 10 years ago!) and my advice would be "pass me the bargepole" ! Doubt that it would happen anyway but solid Swiss/German funds and principles offer me much more confidence than new money from the Far East !
  6. I remember once having this type of discussion with my secretary (female) in Belgium : I said something along the lines of " since the beginning of time women have borne the children whilst man was the hunter and the provider"! Without batting an eyelid she responded "so I suppose that you do the supermarket shopping every week then?) Cheeky cow :)
  7. I'm glad that they got 6 and 7 game bans for this disgusting act ! You don't see much of this behaviour and the long bans may be a contributory factor, so the system seems to be working fairly well ! Comparing with nasty tackles is not 'like for like' as the degree of intent and premeditation is often unknown, sometimes it is just mistimed and unfortunate so is open to interpretation ! Not saying that bad tackles are acceptable, just that they are all different and should be judged (later, if necessary) on the merits of each case !
  8. Don't worry Guys and Gals, I have been away for the last 5 weeks so have not been at any of the dismal matches but I'm back for tomorrow ! Hoping that my presence will spark us into a winning performance COYS
  9. Max's post will reflect Ronald's team talk, no negativity, look ahead, stay strong, stay positive ! That's the way it should be, if you even consider losing then you are half way there ! We won't lose, that's the approach and I wouldn't have it any other way ! COYS
  10. Well said Max ! COYS

  12. Karma at its finest ! Could tell by the look on his boat race that he was going to miss
  13. The guy is a fecking liability, thanks Poch !
  14. I stopped buying Durex when they sponsored West Ham and then got 3 kids ! Be careful what you wish for, eh
  15. As opposed to "fans boo loss " which of course never happens ( booing that is, not losing ! ) as they are the bestest !
  16. They are going to have to be careful with the overheads : That's open top buses in a week now
  17. Koeman= Boss Mane = idiot
  18. Thank you very much for the 50 million ! Thank you very much, Thank you very, very much ! Thank you very much for the 50 million ! Thank you very, very much ! Or. You signed the wrong ones, You signed the wrong ones, You thick f"cking Scousers, You signed the wrong ones !
  19. If it is an interesting argument then I agree that it should be interesting
  20. Thanks for the info but still a bugger for me, I really hope that we have the game sewn up with 10 mins to go !!
  21. Wish it were that simple, have family logistics (brai etc..) leading up to it, so am in the hands of the electric bods and they never seem to favour us whichever way we turn ! Already have visions of missing a superb winning goal or a devastating kick in the goolies !
  22. Anyone got any idea why the kick off is at 16.15 ? (Normally 16.00) I'm in Cape Town and it's live on TV but there is a planned electricity outage at 18.00 (UK time) which probably means that it'll cut off just before injury time which is a real barsteward particularly if it's a tense draw at the time ! Grrrr.....
  23. Strange decision, I thought that if the ref witnessed the incident then that was the end of it ?
  24. This is my view also but perhaps if Ronald reads this thread we could be above Chelsea and City as well :)
