I can live with £600 odd quid for 19 PL matches but paying Adidas £87 for a kids (named and numbered!) polyester replica kit really sticks in my gullet (that's last season's price BTW) ! I have 3 grandsons, so if I were to buy each of them the home and away kits, I would have to fork out £522. If commercial thinking includes looking to the future, I would suggest that fleecing your youngest, potential customers is not the best way to go about it !!

I'm pretty sure that the 'barring crazy offers' comment implies that Shaw could go for circa £30mil ! TBF, left backs are not totally irreplacable and that sort of dosh can fill a number of gaps elsewhere in the squad ! Can't say the same for Lallana and Schneiderlin mind !

Neither Pardew nor Hughes are ahead of Mopo in terms of achievement ! Saints are relative newcomers to the PL and have improved step by step ! It is clear GS that you do not rate Mopo but this is stretching it even by your standards !!

I am genuinely not worried about next season ! There may well be changes but I feel that there is a solid infrastructure and good people in key areas of the club ! Smart people think positively and those who anticipate failure tend to find it ! Schneiderlin was immense IMO and was ably assisted by Cork and JWP, Rickie and Adam good in first half but everything fell a bit flat in the second ! We had a ginger tom called Gizmo who was smart until his last breath at 18 years old ! There were no two bits of him hanging the right way and in the end and my wife took him to the vet to be put down ! As the young trainee vet approached him with a needle, he launched himself at her throat, drawing blood and scratching her badly. He clearly knew what she was up to so it must have been a good lesson for her early in her carreer ! I must say that I was impressed by his spirit !

IMO the way it has worked out has always been the best option (for us!) ie. 'death by a thousand cuts' and non stop hilarity ! I wouldn't have missed the last couple of years for all the fat in their pipes

More's the pity that the FL didn't have the balls to impose the deserved 10 point penalty which every other team in history had ! They would almost be dead by now if true justice had been served, the DFCSB's !

I have been in the safe standing area in Dortmund and it was a great experience ! Personally I prefer being a 'Kingsland Codger' but if I were to stand I'd rather it was not like these days where you are up and down like a yoyo with some stroppy steward marching up and down the aisles telling you to sit !
