Yoshida has proved that he is a competent back up CB in the PL ! As an established international, having played against the likes of Germany and Brazil, it would be difficult to find someone else willing to sit on the bench for much of the season and then come in and perform as he does ! For sure, he is not 'world class' but right now he is the best back up that we have !!

I voted Yoshida as MoM, never put a foot wrong and (given that he is not a regular) felt that he read the play superbly and contributed to a solid back line performance ! Many have said that we were poor in the first half but I prefer to consider that we contained the opposition with a view to breaking them down later with increased impetus and creativity ! The fact is that Fulham are in pretty deep relegation trouble and were always going to be more vulnerable the longer the match went on and that is how it panned out ! COYS

I think we only paid something like £350k for him so to get £1.75mil plus some previous loan fee amounts, we made a substantial profit on a player who is clearly deemed as dispensible ! Not bad business really !

Can I suggest that you watch it again and you'll find that he looks up in Lallana's direction just before the ball comes to him, he then plays it first time with spin right into Adam's path so that he does not even have to break stride ! It was as intentional as it was audacious, utterly brilliant !!
