I'm not in any way surprised that the average is £1500 per year (£125 per month) as I am paying £260 per month ! I admit that the house is sizeable and detached but there are only two of us for most of the time. I'ts a solid old place but I've tried hard to insulate it against the elements as we are right by the sea ! I negotiate on a regular basis and have switched once but I reckon that one is as bad as the other so am prepared to lump it !!

What will it be then ? I need to get some Xmas gifts for my grandchildren, I've already got a copy of "Snow Caucasian and the 7 Vertically Challenged Persons" but need to know what else to look out for ??

Had one 30 years ago with zero problems or regrets except for when my wife drove me home from the clinic, she had just passed her driving test and lurched/ jerked the car all over the place, every bloody pothole was taken at speed, every corner was taken on two wheels etc.. Just watched the first half and they certainly don't look like world beaters ! Pretty strong team but not sure if the absentees are rested or injured (Dyer, Williams etc..) I guess it would be handy if the Michu head wound keeps him out of Sunday's match !

On Tuesday night at the Bristol City game, I was sat (before kick-off) in the Chapel end when a steward approached a guy along the row from me, he had a pint in his hand and was innocently drinking it whilst minding his own business (his mate was drinking coffee) ! He was politely told that alcohol was prohibited in this part of the stadium and he left his seat and went back downstairs. Five minutes later he returned and all was well ! For me, that was sensibly handled but it seems that there is not a 'unified approach' ! Good luck to you, I trust that you will get a slap on the wrist and that will be the end of it !

I will be disappointed with less than 4 points from the upcoming two matches but don't really consider them to be 'defining' moments ! It's a long old season and the key matches will normally be towards the latter part when we have more of an idea of realistic targets !

You make some good points here and as we all now know Gaston is an enigma ! Fact is from last night's match, he won it for us with a sublime finish which probably nobody else on the pitch could have done ! I'm aware that you can do all that (at one stage I actually had 3 active passports!) it's more a case of you having to lie to get in, which means that if (for whatever reason), you are questioned about it then you are well and truly f*cked ! BTW, I agree that the gay and booze issues are exaggerated and my only gripe is that the bid was accepted under false pretences, which TBF is much more of a condemnation of FIFA than it is for the country of Qatar !!
