  1. Another 3 being bought today. Pretty poor showing so far, but there seems to be a lot of people buying this week from conversations round me in the northam.
  2. Certainly seemed so from where I was sat - ball going in, he tries to head it towards goal (unnecessary) and heads it over. Great.
  3. He did his celebration dance in front of the northam Was it not clear enough the first time?
  4. WG, very harsh on Lallana. He was fantastic today, although I agree that someone else MUST take the corners.
  5. From what, exactly? They weren't in admin.
  6. There were no excuses for not winning today. Positives; We TRIED to play with width. When Mills came on he looked very good IMO. Lallana was fantastic, anyone who questions his commitment really doesn't have a clue. The defence looked extremely solid. Once Jaidi comes in and Murty is fit again, it will be exceptional. Pardew has done what I and many others always say you should do; he has built from the back. The three CMs who played a part - Hammond, James and Schneiderlin - looked very sharp, and their passing was accurate for the majority of the game. Negatives; With regards to width, Lallana is not a winger, Thomson is useless and Mellis is too weak/inexperienced. Until we get decent wingers (it may well be Mills on the left and Waigo on the right), we will never be able to play well with width. Paterson looked lost, he really should have scored. We are wasting Lambert by having him play with his back to goal.
  7. Really? I thought he looked a lot shakier today than he normally has. Missed a few headers and let his man get past him a fair few times. (I think he is great by the way, just giving my opinion on this one individual performance).
  8. He would if we had better options. Mills is back now, so Lallana will be on the right again.
  9. That's what i'm hoping to see. Although I think Jamie White will be on the bench rather than Gillet/Holmes.
  10. Twas longer than 2 weeks dear.
  11. :smt045
  12. Saints 5-0 Colchester.
  13. That video is brilliant.
  14. Stern John kept us up that season.
  15. No we didn't, that's a lie. We doubled his wages.
  16. V Northampton.
  17. Us, for breaching some rule or other to do with Jaidis work permit.
  18. To be honest I think the best way would be to introduce a drafting system like they have for NFL in America. Obviously massive amounts of money would need to be poured into the colleges that the young players play for.
  19. £6million and Stern John WAS too good to turn down, to be fair.
  20. Screw it, Saints 5-0 Colchester.
  21. Doubt it, we wouldn't have bothered putting it in.
  22. About 7 pages too late
  23. Well I, for one, am part of the 11,000. I don't see why it make a difference whether people are counted amongst STs or not. If we had sold 2000 season tickets and then got an average attendance of 16,000 would it have really been so much better? It's not like the 11,000 season tickets are just cardboard cut outs stood in front of the seat.
  24. Quite funny, only thing that annoys me is that it's always English clubs that are used to make an example. Although - was the Juventus relegation a few years ago FIFA or the Italian FA?
  25. Surely that isn't two years, just january and next summer.
