The bus lie ffs. Give it up, it wasn't a promise, it wasn't a pledge, it was a slogan giving an example of what we could be funding instead of sending money to the EU. And guess what - we haven't left yet and we're still paying in, so if you really want to criticise for that then you need to at least wait and see whether we give extra money to the NHS once it's actually available!

A pretty ineffective one. The guy I know who was at the game was right behind the goal and so if the keeper had heard something, he would have done as well. I'm completely confident that he would be honest about it if something did go on. The guy is very straight talking, no nonsense and calls people out on their bullsh*t all the time.

Looking at the guys record overall he's got a very, very good goals and assists to games ratio. I understand it's in mostly lower leagues but the only time he's played in a higher league at no point did he get a run in the team. Add to the fact that he's on course to win his 5th piece of silverware and his 3rd league title in 3 different countries. I think there's still a good player there, but whether we'll ever see him do it in this country is unlikely.

I don't believe for a second that anybody said Mauricio Pelligrino could be the next Alex Ferguson.

With attacking options like that we should be working on quick one-twos between them to get beyond the defence, my worry is that those three behind Ings all like to try and take on the man themselves and if that isn't on then they just lay it off backwards and try to reposition.

Yep I watched that, "not passing backwards or square" was the exact phrase...then literally as he finished saying that the clip in the background showed a backwards pass followed by a square pass. The trick is having the guts to play the forward pass when the opportunity is there, not ALWAYS passing forward.

I don't understand why they can't have the fourth official do the pitch side reviews, as they are always fully qualified referees anyway.
