Awful miss from Gallagher there, should have taken it on further. Never really watched youth football before, you can see the inexperience clear as day with some of the decisions made.

The price of giving youth a chance in the first team, it has a knock on effect. 17-18 year olds playing in the under-21s, 15-16 year olds in the under 18s etc. Might not think it makes much of a difference, but just think about how much bigger the kids in year 11 seemed when you were in years 7/8 for example.

Guessing at which times we tried to sign them, they would have all been decent signings. I would even say that Hooper, Adomah and Boyata might still be here if we'd signed them.

I've emailed the club asking what's happened to the flag, any future plans etc. Not holding out any great hope on a reply other than the generic fire safety stuff.
