  1. Which we did.
  2. I agree about their goals, but with a frontline of Derbyshire and Miller and then support from players like Reid, Greening, Majewski and Cohen, there are few sides with a more creative line up IMO.
  3. His first full league game against one of the most creative AND physical attacking line ups in the league. He did alright. I'm sure he'll do better.
  4. Did Lambert seriously get booked for high-fiving a couple of fans after scoring his third?
  5. A fair few of our offsides were once Hammond switched to right mid and he was playing in a much more advanced role. He's used to running from deep, so it's fair enough that he'd lose concentration on where the defence is every now and then.
  6. Didn't know this at the time, but given that fact i'm much more impressed with how we coped.
  7. Whilst on the subject though, their first looked a tad offside.
  8. No, he was clearly onside. It may have seemed offside due to the length of time the ball took to drop out the air.
  9. Wow. He has really lost the plot.
  10. I thought he was alright in the first half, and all over the place in the second. Very promising debut against an incredibly strong front line though.
  11. Christ on a bike. Surely if you're following that logic, the credit goes to whoever first had the idea to set up a footy team back in the 1800s?
  12. Was the Ebanks-Blake one ever confirmed?
  13. Probably is. If it was taken the day of the open training session, then there would have been people in the stand behind them surely? So they stuck the squad on a generic pic of that stand.
  14. There's a lot of so called superstars from the "good ol' days" in music and film in particular who are nowhere near as good as people like to remember.
  15. One girl once asked, "is a dog fish long and thin because it's like...a sausage dog fish?". And a lad in the flat opposite me a few years back when he got the microwave stuck on defrost - "when would you ever need to defrost a microwave!?"
  16. It's just a topic to discuss. Seeing as the transfer window is shut and there are no longer dedicated threads to rumours, where would you suggest we talk about this one?
  17. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Southampton-Watford-Marvin-Sordell-4million-January-bid-article796302.html The mentioned goal (set up by Chamberlain) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=za29OmrxEMg
  18. Keep up that rate and we'll get over 100
  19. Sounds like you're a pro at this game then
  20. Very interesting, but some of their policies seem a bit off. For example on education - taking a grammar exam at age 11, if you pass you go to grammar school, if you fail you go to technical school to "learn trades and skills needed for life in a world of work". So if you fail the exam at age 11 you're already given up on.
  21. Jeez, the new PA guy is even more cringeworthy in this than i've ever seen him. Good to see the players and their families getting a little more involved than you would expect.
  22. I'm pretty sure a few of those aren't even playing football anymore (Richards, Rudd, Wallis-taylor and maybe Dutton-black).
  23. No. He was only decent in a very poor side for us.
  24. Agree with this as well. "Protracted negotiations" - just having another little dig at us.
  25. Ah yes
