I think the centre works very well with Morgan and Chaplow. Chaplow seems to play a lot better with Morgan.

He is class. His work rate is phenomenal and that where he makes up for his lack of pace. The last minute against MK Dons where he was the only player chasing their players down preventing a cross showed his determination and stamina. My one criticism is when it comes to him having a strike on goal, he seems to often take one too many touches before shooting. It seems he wants to find that extra bit of space but I think he would be better off having a crack. Something that will need to be worked on more if he is to play at a higher level.

Your help needed (Markus Liebherr Tribute) - DONATIONS SITE NOW LIVE

I like this. I shall donate. Are we able to use it at every game? -
*Hand goes up* It was me. I only said I wouldnt touch pfc with a barge pole with all the dodgy goings on in the past and how they'd be wise to wait for the court case which could result in points deduction/relegation. Then went on to say they may as well look to clubs like Crystal Palace, Sheff Utd, Coventry etc which would be a much wiser investment due to their fan base and less dodgy accounts. Within minutes there were 25 replies (mainly typing their song 'he made me feel sick so I hit him with a brick') and 9 friend requests. I replied to their comments with 'These are the fans you'd be investing in, I rest my case' They now seem convinced I have scuppered the deal LOL. I also commented on someone elses post about them having the best fans in the world. Shame it got deleted, as it was the easiest wind up ever! Edit: Just checked on my blackberry and it's still showing on there. Just not on my laptop.

I got it til about Honiton once. Could just get SaintsPlayer, mobile broadband and have the laptop on in the car... -
We need to get there first. But whether you like it or not, if we get promoted, it will happen. Then after 10 minutes or so, the stewards will form a chain and everyone will return to the stands. The players will come out with their kids and walk around the pitch, then there will be a mini celebration in the civic centre square followed by a very busy evening in town.
-
It would be nice to see, I like that Surman is part of it. However, I want it to be us that does the consecutive promotions. It wont be as special if they do it the year before us.

He shouted at me once for driving too fast. RIP

I have been accepted to that facebook group. Where do I start with warning them off before I get booted out?
-
He also says 'ya know' a lot. I think he's one of the best players at the club. Great footballing brain. He says he's one of the fittest at the club. Maybe he should start? He could play a massive role for these next 4 games!!

Poyet compares us with Dagenham and Redbridge

Ha! Seems he's been rattled. Bless him The only difference between D&R and Saints is Lambert. Massive LOL!!! -
I don't think that's really him
-
I would say he did get something. A roof over his head for 5 years. I think the fair way has already been suggested. Value the property and give him half the profit. He can't just have all his money back that he paid in. What sense does that make?

I think you've completely misunderstood the point of the thread. The 'pray for Jay' title was because that is the name of the group on facebook set up by his friends that has attracted support from over 1000 people. I started the thread to bring the fund raiser to peoples attention. Especially those who may know his but haven't seen this sad news yet. Also to write good wishes if people feel like it. that's all, no need to get your knickers in a twist
-
Apologies. I can't edit the title. Mods?

Not sure if any of you saw this in the Echo a while back but some of you on here may know him. Jay Young from Southampton was paralyzed recently while rehearsing a routine for a show. http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Pray-For-Jay/174403609276793 http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/district/southampton/8948805.Stuntman_paralysed_in_Legoland_accident/ There is a fund raiser coming up in Totton soon http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=213788835313709

Markus Liebherr Tributes / Walsall Game Tribute

Well done mate - The ball is rolling -
Such great memories of this day. I was 13 at the time and had been a STH for about 7-8 years. I hadn't been to many away games so only really knew The Dell, and had always watched a team that included MLT. Little did I know at the time how much I took both for granted. My best memory of the day was being at the front of the west stand next to the photographers pen in the corner from 85 minutes onwards, hoping to get a good view of the lap of honour. Saw the ball go forward and then a shot end up in the back of the net. I had no idea it was Matty that scored but got bundled over the wall. I ran towards the Archers and at the same time someone from the Archers came running towards me, we shared a flying hug by the corner flag. I managed to get back into the front of the west stand and it felt like I was there for about 10 seconds before the final whistle went and I was back on the pitch again. A great day. I wish I was a bit older so I could have taken more of it in, but glad I still got to experience The Dell.
