Judging from a skate mate on twitter, they're extremely hard done by so far and the ref has completely conned them. Guessing the big occasion has got to him again.

Would he take a pay cut to join a smaller club just to sit on the bench? Unlikely.

Just my opinion. He's not a natural athlete and was slow, not many managers would have given him that luxury these days. He by he's own admission led an unhealthy lifestyle (food-wise) for a footballer. Like I said, maybe he'd knuckle down because today's game demanded it.

Maybe controversial to post here... I don't think MLT would make it in today's Premier League. It's difficult to say that about my hero. His talent is unquestionable. You could say he'd have better coaching but he wouldn't have the mindset I feel. He hated running and enjoyed his food too much. Not sure the coaches and managers of today would have the patients with him. These days you need to be athletic first, talented 2nd. Maybe he would get his head down as the game would demand it. But I'm not sure...

Will always going to be a challenge to keep him. Surprised nobody came in during the summer. Now he's done well for England the top teams will feel they need to get in there before others do. Fortunately, his performances for England will likely double his price tag.

No panic. He's a replaceable head of department. The team of scouts/analysts are still as good at their job as they were before their line manager left.

Even if those Eastleigh prices are good compared to the competition, it's still high. I guess gate receipts are a vital income at that level so they need to price it as high as possible. That said I was contemplating getting along to a few Eastleigh games this season. Not sure I will now...

Like I said, personally I feel he does. Something puts my nose out of joint a bit having taken a chance on him to bring him to the PL, turn him into an international footballer, help him through the rehab (obviously an obligation), offer him a lengthy contract when still injured just for him to jump ship right away to sit on someone's bench. Just my personal opinion. Anyway, not happened yet....

He'd be mad to go to City. Thing is with footballers, they always believe they're good enough (money helps) so the likelihood of him spending years on the bench won't put him off. I like him and hope he stays. Personally I think he owes us after the rehab of his injury.

Don't think anybody is denying Lallana is a good player and did bloody well for us. We were as good for him as he was for us. Is Tadic better? So far I'd say so but it's still early days. What is also undeniable is his attitude. You want proof, it's plastered everywhere and I have plenty of anecdotes from those within the club. This attitude, and only this attitude is the reason fans will not welcome him back like we will Lambert, Dean Hammond, Richard Chaplow, Billy Sharp and even Danny Fox etc who all gave all they could for the club, some even got pretty badly treated by the club but refused to bad-mouth us. You'll just have to bare the brunt of the reception Lallana will receive along with him. You'll be in the minority.

Yep. Much better to bring them through together at U21 with less pressure. Much better place to learn your trade. One thing England massively lack is a team spirit, this would help that.

Twitter is hilarious this evening. General consensus is Awful Andy has to go, they're crap and who cares if they're "fan owned" it's time to find a buyer! For the first time, I want them in the cup. Before I only saw it as a situation where we can't really win, but we could easily get double figures against that lot!

Pretty much all been summed up already but the biggest thing for me is taking the cups seriously. This team has been fantastic so far this season and I hope we can achieve something with them. Be it a cup or top 4, we need to get something while we can.

Great work, well done! Would be great for the club to get involved with securing some form of connection in Brazil given the history. Not sure what their return would be which is probably the reason they won't bother.
