How old are you both? I've seen many of the replies and comments (helpful and TMS quality), but this is the real issue. The "Relationship" you are considering is a today one. But what about 5 years time? Ten years? HIV is contollable now and you will be in this for (hopefully) a long time. Today in your current life, you think about "yourselves" but soon you will start to think about your future, and then you will think about your legacy. I had (many) years in an unhappy marriage. Today though I have an amazing pride in my kids. The marriage made me miss a lot of the day to day stuff while they were at school, but now they are all out there "living their lives" and being successful. I have immense Pride in the fact that if NOTHING else in my life I will have made a difference by bringing three fantastic, well balanced people into this world, each of which is making their own independent mark on the world. I now know that I will leave a legacy, the kids brought enjoyment to my parents (and even today) to my new "better half" who loves them as if they were her own. When I was starting the relationship, I never for one moment understood what that would mean. IF you choose a path in the relationship you can never have that. Maybe you will never miss it, you will have such a wonderful time. BUT, you asked for advice, IMHO the meaning of life is having kids and creating something to be proud of. (And being mercenary, someone who will come round and check you are OK when it snows and you are 80 years old and on a State Pension of 75pence a week)

Those in Parliament ONLY care "What THEIR voters think" so, let's face it you will never get an EDF candidate getting voted in in Brixton, in the same way you could never get a Trotskie voted in Salisbury. This is the first failing of "The current Democratic system". IF you want to get into Parliament you have to do what Blair did and "Sell your soul" for the Votes in the Constituency that you get assigned to. To get assigned you have to sell your soul to the Selection Committee. How can you hold on to deep Left OR Right wing views when you go for a Job Interview? You HAVE to end up (like Red Ken Livingstone) turning "Populist" How can "Caring for the less fortunate in Society" have been allowed to become "bring Society down to the level of the less fortunate"? How can Liberalisation of the Capitalist System" have become "get the Tax Payer to pay us Bonuses for failure anyway"? How can you TODAY be "Left Wing" when the Bastion of "Left Wing Implementation" is one of the most corrupt "Capitalist" societies on earth having failed at Socialism? Or when one of the few remaining "Marxist Maoist" Governments promotes blatant "State Capitalism & Cronyism as China does? The Cyninc in me has learnt that in reality there is only one mantra for "Social Awareness" - that is you first, then your family, then your friends and then your Community. There is only one mantra for Capitalism Me First, then MY family, then MY friends and then MY community. (Note Community means Neighbours, Employees and their family & friends). It doesn NOT mean some "Pseudo Multi-National Chairty with a CEO earning a fortune or some stupid Aid programme that thinks giving Buses GPS systems in the global home of IT Software (Bangalore) is a good use of Public Funds) In BOTH these mantras IF something is left over then it will be stolen or ripped off by someone else.. Me? I've given up on Politics, the system we had has screwed the World, and it has screwed all but 1% of the population. The SOONER a new way emerges the better. I had a a vote for 16 years before I came here. It did feck all to change the world. Should we REALLY in 2012 be relying on manuals and labels written in the early 1900's? Or should we just say Economy First, (ie give us the money). Safety and Security Second (let us not live in fear), Education Third (Let our Children be BETTER than us but NOT be brainwashed by "Political views" or the "opinion" of one teacher), Community Fourth (Let us live in a place where everyone WANTS to be and can aspire to better things - not screwed by suits or .....) Ah sod it. That is why I never post on Politics. Look at the adventures of FF to see what happens when you hold to your beliefs instead of reality. The world is Real. Politicians use labels the same way that Proctor & Gamble/McDonalds use them - Marketing - get your votes and your money. Ignore the labels and vote for people that actually DO SOMETHING. Abduction. Knew nothing about the film, was one of a bunch of dodgy DVD's I bought at New Year in Thailand that my man said "isss gooood". Label of DVD was all in Thai, so was at the bottom of the pile of ones to watch. As a result when finally put it on had to wait for the plot & story to develop wondering if it was a Superbad type High School Kid movie or what. If you like those "Spy Movie" What is happening? Who is the Good Guy? Innocent involved - North by Northwest type thrillers then it is a 9/10, although future Mrs D_P thinks I was mean and gave it a 10 for being a cracking yarn

Local Sat Channel is showing Lewis Season 4 ATM. Last night was the one with the bodies in the Chapel & The Manor. At the end of it Lewis says "Between us we make a great Detective" I think Lee & Sharp will be the same. Between them they will make a great PL player. There will be times when the "Chasing Lost Causes" player (bit of a Steve Moran there) will be the right player, but some teams will be able to negate that. So in those games the nudge, nurdle, flick & spin player will come into his own, which we saw from Sharp in the 1st half against Derby. I think the fact that BOTH players will give us options alongside Rickie tactically as well as cover is really important for the rest of this season and (hopefully) next. We should, right now though, be questioning whether Rickie Lambert can make the step up. After all he's just a L1 donkey that can take Penalties.....

Allowing them to draw down their future (how long are some of those player contracts?) to get to the end of the season? Now this is an opinion I can agree with. Green is a better technical Keeper than Kelvin BUT IMHO it is his "inside his head" where he is not England Quality. Kelvin's head is far more "screwed on" in a game than Green, so yes IF Green can make the squad then KD could also make the squad. That however is not me saying they are both England Quality Keepers, it is me saying that NEITHER are England Quality Keepers. Now, back to the real argument. If Emile Heskey can play for England, why not Rickie?
