  1. That was ridiculous. We all know your name is Dave.
  2. I went to the ticket office to renew and bought a new season ticket for my youngest at the same time. This resulted in the 2 of us that already had ST's having to move seats to fit 3 together. We didn't get charged the £10 fee to change seats. Just a heads up in case anyone else is in the same situation and was wondering if they would incur a charge.
  3. Newcastle to Southampton early on Monday afternoon is £55, but yeah otherwise they are. I normally fly up there from Bristol because it's far cheaper even when you factor in petrol costs.
  4. I was fleetingly tempted when I saw the price but there's no way I'm sitting on the travel club for that length of time in one day. May consider getting the travel club up and flying back on the Monday.
  5. Did that gimp spend all night queuing to renew again like last year?
  6. Shamelessly stolen from Popbitch Knock knock Who's there? The pilot
  7. I'm not saying people can't question players but coming out with a sweeping statement saying Pelle is "poor" is frankly so irrational and untrue that it deserves being pulled up on.
  8. Poor players do not get into the Italian national team. Poor players ply their trade at places like Fratton Park. But yeah, you know better than both our manager and Italy's.
  9. Maybe Steeeeeeeeeve Davis will be back.
  10. Or, thankfully, our team selection.
  11. Those last 2 posts should have gone on the post match thread. Oh well.
  12. Just to add that Everton's fans were possibly the worst I've ever seen. A full stadium yet they sung maybe once in about the 80th minute. Incredibly poor.
  13. It says something about our quality that a team like Everton are happy to nick a scruffy goal and then sit back and play tedious, kill the game football against at home. It's a little disappointing that we have dropped points in a few recent games where we have been the better team but it's really not worth getting worked up about. Anyone that is should take a step back, look at our squad and manager and appreciate just what we have. We've pretty much played the same style of football all season. Remember this is the way the club plays and will not change much under the current regime. It has brought us much success, and will carry on doing so in the future. If people have an issue with us trying to pass the ball into the net then they may as well stop watching because we sure aren't changing this anytime soon. I am very proud of our team and the way they have played this season. Qualifying for Europe will be a superb achievement even if it comes from relying on the FA Cup winners to help she sure our place. Enjoy where we are, enjoy what we have done and enjoy what is coming.
  14. Hopefully some of their fans left early and are currently making the long journey back home in their pony and trap while blissfully unaware of that injury time equaliser.
  15. I'm sure the BBC sport app said it was full time.
  16. They managed something we didn't today, a win at Carlisle. With a bit of luck their plucky, underpaid squad could scrape a top half finish.
  17. lifeintheslowlane have you heard this? One of my favourite songs of recent years:
  18. 30 years after it came out this is getting rereleased. If you have the original vinyl you're quids in. I'd never heard it before but there's something special going on here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=af6DCHiCfhY
  19. He's ok. The problem with his style of comedy is that with so many jokes in a set there's a lot of miss along with the hits.
  20. Loved last week's, will catch this one soon. I was mainlining series 5 of Breaking Bad tonight instead. Only 2 episodes left now.
  21. The whole sponsorship thing is ridiculous. It won't be long until fans are asking each other who their official sanitary pad partners are. Anyway, back to the Everton game. It will be 0-0.
  22. Oh OK. I must remember to incorporate the all important sponsors name into competition titles in future. I hope we have a good run in the Budweiser FA Cup next year.
  23. What's the BPL? Have we suddenly incorporated Scottish, Welsh and N. Ireland teams into the league?
  24. Do we know if S. Davis is injured after coming off at half time for N. Ireland? Is the press conference tomorrow?
  25. Ings fits that bill. With only 4 letters in his surname it most definitely is not big. Also, and I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but isn't he a Saints fan?
