Lowe & Richards in board room on Sunday at Forest....Confirmed by Club
scally replied to exit2's topic in The Saints
If they gave out an award on this forum for smug **** of the year you'd win it hands down. Ninetenn Canteen would struggle to live with you. -
Take a look at the home games we had under Wigley and the run in Redknapp had. Harry has never been a bad manager and if he didn't have to work with Lowe I think things would of been different. Maybe he shouldn't of come here after leaving the skates. FF has obviously heard some of the crap he had to put up, if we never had an egotistical chairman who thought he could rewrite how football clubs are run I doubt we would of been in that positition in the first place. Was Wigley given the job because he was the right man at the time or was it because Sir Clive was coming at the end of the season and Lowe thought he could wing it with a yes man untill then and then everything would be ok because the rugby man would then be in place? Lowe is a numpty and made numourous mistakes but to repeat the Stuart Gray fiasco beggers belief.

I would love some one to take a look at the Delgardo deal, I heard along time ago that this was very dodgy. If he was a horse he would of been shot , how did he pass a medical?Unless of course it was in somebodies best interest that he did.
-
If you look at the fixtures we had a really difficult run in, we lost or drew too many winnable home games under Wigley.
-
No we need a clean sweep, including the Dutch bloke.
-
Lucky you weren't around in the 70's and 80's then, Bristol Rovers when we lost 2-0 in the cup, 84 the semi against Everton at Highbury, anytime we went to Brighton and just about any home game. Today is pretty lame compared to the bad old days, at least you can go to most away games and put on a Saints shirt, doing that in the old days you would of had all kinds of grief. Football today is far more civilised than it was 20 years ago, thank god.

I did Orient, Fulham and Luton, the support at all three was incredible, about 8000 at Luton and Fulham and then 10000 at Orient.

A great player does nt always make a great coach.
-
I bet 80% of the players who come through any Premiership teams academy end up plying lower league football.
-
Problem is they should be sorting those mistakes out on the training ground, the blokes clueless
-
The bloke was here for all that time and never understood the most important man at a football club is the manager not the chairman.
-
You got some strong weed there mush best be careful.
-
They'll have to bring back the Commercial Houses League before these bunch of pub footballers find their level.
-
The other Dutch bloke was better than this joker
-
They've gone from a team that plays football and loses to a team that just loses.

My brother was told by Gordan Watson who is now scouting for Leicester and is good friends with Pearson, that Pearson asked Lowe to make him an offer. After hearing nothing he then phoned Lowe and was told the position had been filled. Nigel Pearson never had the chance to discuss what he would of wanted to stay or had an interview.
-
So now Lowe says we couldn't afford Pearson!!!!!!!!
scally replied to um pahars's topic in The Saints
I was told last night that Pearson said he wanted to stay and asked Lowe to make him an offer, he heard nothing and then spoke to Lowe and was told the managers job had already been filled. From what I have been told he was never even interviewed. If this is true and it does comes from a very reliable source then Lowe is spinning his bull**** again. -
R F Webb formed 1932 Taken over by Lowe Holdings a couple of years ago Went into voluntary liquidation 2008 Rupert Lowe strikes again, what a great business man he is. I was told today that their staff have been told tomorrow will be their last day. Who will Lowe blame for this one?

A quality player who played in what in my view was the best Saints side ever, how many games were we off of doing the double that year?
-
Everybody has and still have some reservations about what has happened in the last few months but nobody who has seen the team or read the reports can deny this team go out to entertain. I have waited a long time for a Saints side to go out and play football that is a joy to watch, we may not get promoted but I also can't see us being relegated. Lets just all enjoy watching a side that has movement, pace, can control a ball and knows how to find a team mate with a pass, doesn't seem like much but it's been a while since we had a team that could even do the basics. Forget the politics, just enjoy the football.

The problem with all this is it's been next week next week for the last 4 months, I understand a deal like this can't be easy to sort but the longer it goes on the less likely it seems that it will happen. The other thing that worries me is people are still saying it's close to happening yet I heard recently that if it did not happen before the season started it wouldn't be untill January at the earliest. Whats going on?
-
I started going the season after relegation 75 I think it was. I'm sure I was at that match so it must of been after 75, probably 77 or 78

You are a million miles off the mark, the people talking about this take over are Fulthorpe and Cousins, it has nothing to do with the old board or ex execs.
