Don't think he has even been linked with the club he "wants" to go to ....... yet.

Roy Hodgson warns Clyne over attitude in response to Slovenia game
Wurzel replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Yes, he was one of the first to catch Rooney in his after goal celebration. Hodgson got out of jail in that game, think we won in spite of him not because of his selections. And England going all season undefeated is in danger of becoming an Emporer's new clothes scenario, the average ranking of all opponents was something like 65th. I could sort of understand Hodgdon's reasoning - albeit a risky decision - for putting Henderson at RB at half time certainly can't understand the decision to play Jones from the start. At the end of the day you HAVE to pick your best form players in their own positions, if you don't what incentive is there for anyone to try and improve (or indeed those already established to even maintain their form) -
"Want" can be a bit open to interpretation.. He may or may not prepared to join them if they are the only acceptable bidder. But they are not the club he would like to join.

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Southampton-Soccer-Jersey-15-16-Mane-Long-Pelle-Cork-Tadic-Wanyama-Southampton-Soccer-Jersey-2016/32344881477.html The ITK fakers have already been hard at work. Hopefully not so ITK regarding the 15/16 squad.

You mean can he GK?

Human statue? Shop window mannequin? Guard at Buckingham Palace? Some people just aren't prepared to make the effort.

All makes sense, but under the FFP salary cap rules would clubs be able to offer those mega salaries when picking up the players for nothing?
-
Luckily for us all 4 games are against teams who - as things stand now - can't really afford to play for a draw, which is where we can often come unstuck. So 4 wins then

No excuse. I know that SMS isn't the noisiest ground in the country but even somebody totally unaware on arrival that a minutes silence is happening would immediately notice the lack of usual hubbub of pre-match anticipatory buzz, not to mention one quick glance at the pitch to see both teams lined up and stationary.

This. Then you can use it again on his 400th.

Pretty much this. Kindle apps "work" fine on a tablet but within 10 minutes or so of staring at that non-changing back lit page(s) of text your eyes will feel sore as hell. No such worries with a kindle, visually the same as reading ink on paper, far more comfortable for longer spells of reading.

Great day. Only my 2nd ever away day, (we won the first one as well, the next was the final. All downhill from there). Lasting memory apart from the match was having my foot stood on by a police horse whilst queuing at the turnstile.

CLUB ACCOUNTS: 2013/14 - Saints reveal first profit

Not sure when transfers in or out are/were applied but ....... -
Ignoring the ins and outs of whether we need to expand or not, has ANYONE expanded their stadium or moved to a bigger one in the last 20 years or so and NOT seen an increase in average attendance afterwards? I'm thinking possibly Wolves, who couldn't have timed it worse if they tried, but can't think of any others.

1. Did the United win put us pretty much out of the race? If we let ourselves think we're out of it then that'll become self-fulfilling. We're relying on them hitting a bad patch but we're not out of it. 2. Is there even a race or will it just be the top 4 as they are now? Of course there is still a race, top 4 have to be favourites, but has the fat lady sung yet? 3. Were we ever realistic contenders or does our relative squad size make it nigh on impossible? Hard but not impossible. We've had 2 really good spells this season where we've picked up points we've not expected to. Conversely we've had two poor spells where we've dropped points we'd have expected to gain. So overall the table doesn't lie although we've possibly not got to where we are in the way we expected. But just 2 wins off a CL place with 8 games to go? It wouldn't take a huge amount of strengthening to get there. Also our performances this year might just encourage a few other clubs that they aren't here just to make up the numbers, just possibly the "big 4" won't have things quite their own way in future 4. Would you be in any way disappointed with Europa League because you thought we had a shot at the CL? No. 5. Assuming we get there, would Europa be of equal, lesser or greater importance relative to the PL and other Cups next season? PL should be priority, but a good Europa run will give us a greater European (if not worldwide) awareness than a good FA or LC run would, making us even more attractive to new foreign signings in the future.

Would love to see the "big" Euro-nations get together and make a stand. No fuss, accept it, enter as normal but all "accidentally" lose their qualifying fixtures. FIFA would be left with a finals full of the likes of Estonia, Malta, Luxembourg and Scotland.

Not bookies but when my brother was full and gloom and predicting relegation he offered £20 bet that we would finish closer to 19th than 10th. Snapped his hand off. Maybe Redslo can confirm what the magic number will be when I can actually get him to pay up.
-
How would that affect us though? Would 7th then miss out?

I had the dubious pleasure of spending an evening in the company of this lady and her then husband/boyfriend/partner/whatever must have been 9 years ago as it was just after the older girl had been born. Let's just say none of this story surprises me.
